Lovely location on the outskirts of Avola. Easy access to everything, but would recommend having a car as we did as the walk into town could be a faff! Hosts were brilliant, used the pool once which was clean and a good temperature once you got over the initial cold bit! Yeah, really liked it and great value for money.

My only two complaints were as follows: 1. There wasn't really enough storage space. There was one big drawer and a few hangers to store a week of clothes for two people. We managed, but maybe some better drawers or wardrobe type furniture would be more suitable as we couldn't really separate underwear from clothes etc etc. 2. Dogs were barking until 1/ 2 in the morning most nights, which I know the host can't help, but then the gardener was outside the window using a petrol hedge strimmer at 7am, or some other noise, children playing for example, and the rooms are not sound proof at all even with the windows shut, so we didn't get the best sleep to be honest.

Host was very helpfull. When we needed something they were eager to help, f.e. water source and vacuum to clean car, weight to measure how much we can carry goods on our flight back. Our room was spacious with great terrace where we ate breakfasts and dinners every day. Area around building is also very nice, a lot of green space, nice hidden parking spots.

Great location, beautiful property on a quiet street, wonderful garden and a big amazing pool.

Everything was just perfect!

A lovely clean and good value apartment for a small family. A large balcony that got morning sunshine and a lovely swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and responsive.

Didn't dislike anything. It's located a bit of a walk from town but knew that before booking.

Location near beach and seaside dining. As we entered the electric gates we felt like we had entered the manicured grounds of a rich home. First impressions were of a quality guest room on side of the main house. Plenty of covered parking. Good laundry facility with a washing machine and drying racks. This apartment had an extra bedroom intended for children. The proprietor Donnatella was very responsible and helpful. The weather was great.

A few things: 1. We could not seem to get the heat pump/AC to work, so the cool well-insulated home turned cold at night. 2. The bath was a bit cramped and the shower plumbing leaked reducing the amount of hot water that could reach us via the rain head shower. The soap tray in the shower was apparently broken off by some prior tenant and likewise the toilet paper holder.
