Le chalet est idéalement situé, rendant accessible à pied le domaine nordique ; en 10 minutes de voiture, on est au pied des pistes du domaine de ski alpin des Portes du Soleil, qui porte très bien son nom. Le chalet est très bien équipé, avec une cheminée qui rend le salon très cosy. Les chambres sont grandes et l’agencement permet à chacun d’avoir son intimité. Nous reviendrons !

We stayed for a week in this chalet during a week in January. The chalet is spacious, well equipped, and has a fantastic view from the large window in the living room. The nearby village of Chapel d'Abbondance is charming and offers various nice restaurants. The village Chatel offers also many shops and is more turistic. Directly opposite the road is a path along the river for a walk whilst enjoying nature. There are several options for skiing, depending how advanced you are. Emma, the owner of the chalet, quickly assisted us when we didn't manage to lock the door, as we hadn't understood the French way of pulling the door handle up, whilst locking the door! We had a wonderful holiday!

Le chalet bénéficie d’une très belle vue… Il est confortable… Les pièces sont grandes et il y a vraiment une ambiance savoyarde à l’intérieur… Nous recommandons cette location ! Il bénéficie du soleil toute la journée

Chalet spacieux et très agréable . Bien situé pour le calme. Peut être rajouter une cafetière électrique, ainsi les chaînes TV en français .

Chalet agréable, pratique, avec des accès sur l'extérieur nombreux et pratiques. Une hôtesse charmante. La pièce du bas avec la salle de bain est un peu étrangement agencée.

Excellentes prestations, chalet au calme à 1 km des commerces et 500m du centre nordique L’environnement est parfait pour des ballades. A conseiller le fer rouge pour ces plats à emporter.

The location of Emma’s chalet is incredible. At a couple of hundred meters there is this farm selling delicious local cheese. There is also a proper supermarket at a 3 minutes’ drive. There are skitouring options within walking distance, on the first day we literally put on the skis on the balcony and skied back down to it after a good day out (ok we were lucky with the snow). With a bit of fresh snow every night the drive provided the perfect learning slope for our 4 year old on skis and for the smaller kids on sledges. We also ventured on foot to La Panthiaz where there is a sledge slope between the cross-country runs, nice day out with the little ones too! There is plenty of space for skis, sledges and the like in the basement, although things didn’t dry very well there so we took jackets, gloves & co upstairs for drying. There is a user-friendly fireplace providing a super cosy atmosphere in the evenings (and remarkably powerful as heating actually!) with plenty of dried wood just outside the chalet. A great kitchen with enough room to do proper cooking for 2 families, 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms… what else do you want? The carport is also a nice topping, saving you the usual car de-snowing in the morning. In this Corona season all French lifts were closed and not many tourists around, so we had huge amounts of untouched snow and virtually no one to steal us the first track up or down through forests and virgin faces of powder. If snow is less good but lifts are open, the Châtel, Morgins & Avoriaz resorts provide options to easily fill up one week and not get bored!

Un chalet pour 8 personnes, très lumineux, très calme. Il est situé à quelques minutes des pistes de ski.

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour dans ce chalet. Tout était impeccable, propre et fonctionnel. Mes enfants , petits enfants et moi-même avons passé le réveillon dans une ambiance familiale, devant un feu de cheminée et tout était parfait. Les pistes de ski étaient proches . Je conseille cette location

Chalet impeccablement préparé pour notre arrivée, accueillant, cosy, très bien équipé, pour l'été comme pour l'hiver, où nous avons pu nous retrouver en famille avec énormément de bonheur. Les contacts avec les propriétaires, bien qu'épistolaires, sont aisés et chaleureux.

Ce chalet est vraiment bien agréable, accueillant et confortable. Il est idéalement situé (à 4 minutes des œufs de Braitaz, à 5 min de l'intermarché et à une dizaine du parking du Crêt Béni. L'agencement des pièces permet à chacun d'avoir son intimité en dehors de l'espace de vie commune (living et cuisine) qui sont eux même très pratique. La literie est bonne. Bref on y a passé un excellent séjour. On y reviendra volontiers l'année prochaine :-)

We have really enjoyed our stay in the chalet this week. It was lovely and clean on our arrival, in a great location and close to a big supermarket. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds are lovely with nice linen. All in all a great chalet and hope to return again next year.

Wij hebben deze woning een week gehuurd met 7 personen. Het is ons heel goed bevallen. Mooi huis, alle benodigde voorzieningen waren er varierend van ruim voldoende toiletpapier tot kruiden en handzeepjes bij de wastafels. Heel veel hout voor de heerlijke open haard. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep heel soepel. Het huis was ook brandschoon. Goede bedden en prima douche/bad. Echt een aanrader!

we had a great holliday in this chalet. i never had a chalet thas was this clean. the rooms are good en the beds fine. the fireplace was great and the owners are more the helpfull. i could even contact them through Whatsapp. a big hypermarche (supermarket) and skilift at 2 minutes by car. a bakerie at 4 minutes by car. i just have one sugestion: a snowshovel and slede would be nice to have around for the kids. great place!

Lovely chalet in an ideal location between Châtel and la Chapelle with walks from the door. We found it well equipped and very clean, with comfy beds and beautiful views. Emma was very helpful emailing information before we arrived. Would definitely recommend.
