At checkin, NO ONE told us they planned to play extremely loud music with vibration until 2 am. At 11:30 called reception, at 12:10 got dressed and walked to reception. At 1:10 they finally reduced music to level that would have been acceptable from start.
A/c had annoying bright white light, black out curtains wouldn’t close. Loud footsteps above at 6 am. Tepid shower water. Our room was furthest from restaurant which meant 5 minute uphill walk over uneven tile stairs. And yes, reception is not where you expect and there was mold on wall.
All I wanted was a good nights sleep before long drive, and this hotel refused to provide that.

Mold and flakey drywall/paint on wall hidden by cupboard in our room. Cantena bar and restaurant was exceptional.
Yard and building maintenance lacking. Would be a 4-5 star if more care taken in building maintenance.

This was a good hotel to stay at while in Chiriquí. The hotel is super clean, offers good options for breakfast, and has a super kind staff

You have to walk a lot to the restaurant and if it is raining it will be impossible to eat without getting wet.
At night there was no light to walk to the restaurant and a LOT of frogs were on the path. The menu is very limited and did not offer healthy options. My bathroom did not have a floor mat to come out of the bathroom and there were several soap scums traces from previous guests - therefore it was not properly cleaned. The window was open (unlocked) and the curtain will not close fully and I was on the ground floor.

Great place, will definitely but it on my favorites list!
Breakfast was fantastic, and definitely check out their dinner menu.
Only real downside is the lacking of signage out front by the entrance, drove past twice before finding the building.

This is an ok place. , the room was ok but not properly cleaned. Towels bedding clean but floors and master bath not.
This place is old and in ok condition but very sparse in decor . The food at the restaurant was very good.

The proprty was attractive and the room was adequate except instead of a fitted sheet, they used a flat sheet laid directly on a mattress. If you barely moved in the bed, the sheet shifted and you were laying on the mattress. We ended up sleeping on top of the comforter to avoid direct contact with the mattress

My room reservations was canceled and they gave me a one bedroom instead, the room is basic, needs upgrade. Restaurant was great.

When I first arrived there were some issues with my actual reservation and my room was not rhe best in terms of location. Staff were able to reaolve my reservation issue within minutes and my room was changed as soon as I made them aware of it The staff were always friendly, courteous and accomadatijg. The property was beautiful and their pool was clean and refreshing. The restaurants menu had a great selection of delicious choices and the breakfast buffet which was included with my stay was well stocked with a variety of items. The restaurant staff were very good in their attentiveness and friendliness. You will enjoy your stay and if you do have any issues whatsoever, they will fix them right away when you bring it to their attention. The hotel has a Casino right beside them and is situated very close to all amenities in Chitre.

This is a well designed but neglected resort style hotel which seems to be suffering due to the Covid crisis. The building is modern but starting to unravel. The staff consists of only a few people. The hot water is off. The bedding was musty. The restaurants was closed.

Not suitable for wheelchair as there are lots of stairs. Rooms are located far away from the restaurant so when it rains there is no way to get to your room without getting wet. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was cold, meat was so tough we couldn't eat it. Tortillas were hard. There was a cooler for ice but it was always empty.

I have pictures, it was nothing like Expedia pictures, very dirty! I will never stay here again and Expedia should not carry this hotel. Rooms did not have towels, sheets were dirty , no refrigerators, no ice!!! food was terrible for breakfast. Pool was dirty. I was there a couple of days and did not see any ground staff.

Breakfast is okay for the price, only few footsteps away from a Casino which is 24h and has good Meals up to 11:00pm. Everything was clean, nice views to Chitre, lots of nature, swimming pool was clean, very peaceful, was great for relaxing and allso close to the city center of Chitre. The room was big and comfortable.
