Having stayed at the Elbow Room several times I was not disappointed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of my room.

Staff were very helpful and very friendly.

Stay here often love it friendly staff and lovely wee pub.

The hotel has clean areas. There was no direct phone in the room to talk to the staff. There is no 24 hour staff either. The rooms have no sound barriers whatsoever. We could easily hear the next room talking past midnight. The windows to the street do not block the street noise. We easily heard the cars driving in the street in the middle of night. .

I chose the twin room, as I was solo. The sleeping area was tiny, but really- how much is needed? 🙂 Decorated very cute and crisp, and the bathroom was huge and updated. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. On a busy street, but I slept right thru that.

Excellent venue with plenty of off-road parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are compact but clean with plenty of clothes storage and have a fridge. There is two microwaves just nearby where the Continental Breakfast is, of which there is a good variety of items. Ideal for pets as there is a rear staircase which leads to the carpark and grassed area. Ideal location for people attending events at the Royal Highland Centre especially the SKC Championship Show or flying from Edinburgh Airport as it only took us 30 minutes to get there. Cannot comment about the restaurant as when we arrived it was closed but we were directed to an excellent Fish and Chip shop just 2 minutes walk away.

Great stay. Was just there for one night for the ice hockey which is a 2 minute walk away. Room was lovely, very clean and nice touch having bottles of water in the fridge. Continental breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Balcony was a great bonus too. Only slight negative is that its quite noisy outside the rooms with other guests walking by so worth talking earplugs.

Fantastic large Room, convenient Beds, my Wife our children and me were very delighted and can recommend "The Ellbow Room" absolutely.

Excellent very clean and very friendly

The room itself was good and well set-up. Nice little balcony attached to the room. Self serve breakfast bar was well stocked. The bar and hallways were a bit smelly.

I was only there for 1 night with my son for Punkfest. £80 for our room which had more than we needed. Will be back soon with the Wife for a cpl o days!

We had a great experience at the Elbow Room! Everyone was so helpful! We needed to do a little laundry as we had run out of clean pants for our two year old and they were so accommodating and helpful! Really really appreciate it!! Food in the bar was great. Not to much soundproofing between rooms and to the outside patio so if you are an early sleeper or light sleeper maybe bring some ear plugs.. it didn’t bother us too much though

Second time staying at The Elbow Room. Had a lovely room with a balcony. We will be back.

Warm and friendly. Spent some time in the little pub downstairs. Was well taken care of by Lindsey. Highly recommended this neighborhood feeling place where I was treated like a neighbor
