We planned a nice romantic meal at the Sky restaurant for our anniversary but there were 11 raucous men in the Jacuzzi at 8pm (bachelor party even though we lead to believe the jacuzzi would be closed at 7pm) this made our dinner arrangements impossible and we chose to leave. The staff were very understanding and apologetic. The hotel staff and amenities were wonderful and we shall definitely come again.

No hot water in the morning. Drunks at 3am making noise and banging on doors.

The hotel had everything that one needs for a perfect vacation. Really close to the beach, nice pool, jaccuzzi as well as Hammam. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back another time !

Staff were very helpful and friendly, but that didn't compensate for lack of options for breakfast, small pool, overpriced drinks in the rooftop bar (perhaps that's why it was half empty) and not a single space for parking, not even for luggage drop off.

Beautiful classy hotel, the rooms are not very large and one could use more drawers but the hotel is spotless, pool area is fantastic, don’t forget the roof terrace.

My family and I had the most amazing time at the Essence Hotel Boutique! The hotel was like something out of a dream. Our room was super stylish and comfy, with the coziest bed ever. The pool area was our favorite spot – it was so relaxing to chill there and soak up the sun. The food was delicious too! We loved trying all the different dishes. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. They made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun and unforgettable family vacation!

This was a surprisingly cute little hotel. The best thing about this place is that the pool is open 24/7. You can order a massage 1 hour and 10 mins for 50 euros but the room for the massage is a locker room, with no space at all and its next to the bar so it was very hard to relax. It’s called relaxing massage but other than loud music she was talking to me asking me about my life and family and work. Room has minibar and kettle and coffee machine. I liked the water pressure but the water runs all the way over the floor into the bedroom so be careful of your own things laying on the floor. No netflix or smartTV.

Someone we spoke to said they’d been coming here for 10 years … I said you must have seen some changes… no it’s the same… unbelievable, it is like new… everything is so well done … breakfast brilliant, pool area lovely, bar and mini bar great…. Really enjoyed our stay and the location was brilliant…

3rd time visiting this hotel and absolutely love it. Only thing that really disappointed me is that they allow people to “reserve” spots by the pool early morning… so annoying when idiots put out their towels at 08:00 and arrive around lunch!

Check in was seamless, room was nice. Air con didn’t work and water pressure in shower was poor. Not fussed by the two points above as it is a great place to stay

The amenities in the property are second to none. Such great ambience and a really good location. Close to the beach and walking distance to the train station. The 24h access to the pool is a nice touch.

What an absolutely fantastic hotel. Staff members could not do enough for you. The cafés & restaurants in the Avenue were largely patronised by locals, as it’s quite a residential area. I felt as though I was really on Spain as opposed to a tourist area. Beach very close by with lots of nice restaurants. I can’t wait to return. I had my birthday at the hotel & received a gorgeous cake in my room.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay and loved this hotel. Would definitely recommend and also return there. Rooms, maybe not the biggest, were still very well set out and perfect for us. Our room (412) had a bathroom door that wouldnt fully shut but that's a minor issue. Pool was heated with a huge steam room that you can use daily. Two jacuzzis. Chairs, bed around pool were superb. We had breakfast which was outstanding in terms of choice and quality. The rooftop Space Monkey bar with another large jacuzzi must be visited too but a bit chilly by night this time of year. All staff were fantastic, always good to speak with, very friendly and helpful at all times. The location was excellent close to the seafront. Town centre, above the resort is a 10 minute walk. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the hotel with my wife for a week and had only great experience, the reception staff were very freindly and indeed attentive to all our requests. Dinner option was varied every time and we did not have same dinner option for that week. Beach as well as many pubs are only few minutes away from the hotel, so location is really nice, they also have pool with warm water and that is great especially for the middle season, when water in the see is still quite cold. As a frequent travelers, we can only strongly recommend Essence hotel.

Off season stay at beach resort town. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and a variety of dishes. Wine bar in lobby is a nice touch.
