There is a roach in my room. Not the best in terms of cleanliness.

The location is the great highlight of the Hostel! It is located right in front of an amusement park and a five-minute walk to the beach! Cleaning is very present and the number of bathrooms helps, due to the number of rooms. Who wants to smoke, there is an outside area (smoking is harmful to health). The bed is comfortable, as well as the pillow and the locker is the coolest I've ever seen in a Hostel, congratulations to whoever made the design! Regarding breakfast, it is completely self service, you prepare what you are going to eat with options ranging from pancakes to scrambled eggs and coffee with good cream! Below the Hostel there is a Mexican snack bar, the place is very busy and if you arrive hungry like me, it's good to gain energy! And finally, the kitchen is well equipped!

The beds could have a curtain to block the light from the window and minimize the impact when they turn on the light when entering the room. Breakfast could have more options like two fruits. The cost benefit is a little out of the Hostel standard since it is high!

Clean and cozy hostel with a really nice atmosphere. the staff was very friendly and kind. felt really comfortable here. Everything is new and one can feel in all the rooms (shared and the bedroom) that they put a lid of effort in creating this great hostel spot!

The beds were comfortable and soft. The staff was friendly especially Sophie. She was welcoming and helpful. This location has a personal storage and light for each bed. The outlets are easily accessible.

The weather wasn't as good to enjoy the beach.

The location, the room, the staff, the activities and the overall hospitality was beyond belief good. I loved it.

My best friend and I were there on February, it was our first time staying at an hostel and we loved it. The staff is very friendly. We stayed in a room to be shared with other 2 girls. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds with lockers to keep your stuff. We were surprised they had towels for you to use, bathrooms are always clean and showers have hot water. The kitchen is just exactly what you need, nothing fancy, just a nice kitchen with all what you need. Big stove, big fridge to keep your food. Location is away from downtown but it's easy to access to public transport to explore around. I will definitely stay there next time.

Would be great if the beds were more private. Like put lockers or etc on the ends and have curtains on the sides and put clothes hooks on the wall. Then it would be perfect!

Just a couple of meters from the ocean. Excellent location, difficult to find, cos' it is one door entry which blends with all the others store around the street, reception is on front and you need to use stairs to access the hostel. It's a second-floor, small hostel. This hostel is perfect for a couple of days and for those who are traveling light. The location is super, the hostel is next to Belmont Park and one of the best Mexican cheap restaurants-deli of San Diego is located downstairs.

The kitchen is terribly small and it was mainly full of food from the staff. The staff should have their separate fridge. It was cool, cos they provide everything so you can prepare a super breakfast (eggs, pancakes, tea). But, if you are looking to stay a couple of days or a whole week, in summer will be madness. They have some plants in a corner, they should remove that and place a small fridge only for the staff and on the top, more space to place things. When I access my room, the windows have been closed for days, I opened them. A long-term tenant was living there, which shouldn't be allowed. The room was small, but I have to recognize the other girls staying more days, were super clean and you have just the right amount of space to open a big suitcase. The showers overflow all the time, the set-up is not really nice for the volume of guests they have. They need to improve the design of the showers. The cleaning staff should open all the windows when they start the daily cleaning round and then close them. One room was smelling terrible, so we ask the manager to place my friend in another room, which he did, super nice of him.
