We stayed in at this adorable cabin for 1 night to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The cabin is adorable! Perfect location for shopping and restaurants/bars. The beds were super comfy-maybe one of the best I’ve ever slept in! Loved the decor of the cabin-very cute and quaint. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the morning. The host was very responsive and wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!!

We loved this cabin! Very prepared & stocked for guests! Beds & pillows were very comfy, even the pull out bed was wonderful! Quiet little neighborhood, quick couple minute drive to downtown or Douglas. Easy check in & out!

The upstairs porch was our favorite spot to watch the thunderstorms roll in!!! Cool house, old and lots of character, the Hosts were easy to communicate with and we loved being so close to downtown. Careful on the steps!!

We stayed here for a quick weekend and it was perfect. The house is as it is said… cozy cottage. The home is set up so cute with comfy furniture. We really enjoyed our stay. The area is a lot of fun and recommendations were given to us to find the best spots. We can’t wait to come back.

It’s a beautiful property in a great location. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in this cabin 50 years ago we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was listed on VRBO and jumped on the opportunity to stay there 50 years later and find it was still had the same charm it had 50 years ago with modern improvements! The inn keepers made our arrival very special to celebrate our anniversary! thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Stayed one quick night as a stopover for my husband's birthday weekend. It's a quaint cabin with charm. Super close to downtown. Katie and Matt were prompt with their responses and made check in/out very easy.

Loved the “cabin in the woods” yet was mins from downtown. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Our family of three stayed for three nights. Katie's place is nicely located in a neighborhood, with short walking distance to everything in downtown Saugatuck. When we arrived the place was very clean and the kitchen nicely equipped. Katie was a very good host and responded to us promptly whenever we reached out to her. We would have no hesitation in renting Katie's place again and certainly no hesitation in recommending her as a quality host.

My sister and I decided to go wild and break away for a couple of days. We were so delighted with this spot. It's on a hill looking down towards Kalamazoo Lake with a beautiful deck on the back. It was private and beautiful. We sat and watched birds, including a merlin that was being chased overhead from spot to spot. Inside, the living area was spacious and comfortable. Beds were great. Such a happy experience!

Us Three Gals spent two nights in your comfortable log cabin stocked with everything. Including games!! Thank you! I accidentally dropped my car keys into the designated parking spot into the sewer which was quickly resolved Fri the saugatuk’s Public Work after we contacted the sheriff for help. Easy Peacey!

The cabin was gorgeous and it was quite picturesque out on a very snowy week. The kitchen has everything you need and the hosts were very helpful and communicative on anything we needed. Great experience!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this unique log home! Spectacular views of the lake, especially at sunset. Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Saugatuck, including an excellent coffee shop and hip bars/restaurants. Nestled in an adorable neighborhood with huge trees and lake views and lots of early/mid twentieth century cottages. It was very quiet and very private. The cabin sits atop a little hill, so the back of the house faces the lake with several elevated porches and balconies. Even in November, we enjoyed these! Our host was gracious and extremely attentive and communicative, checking on us often. The home was spotless. Clearly this is a home with history that has been much loved over the years, right down to the hobbit-like kitchen (watch out tall peeps!) The gorgeous fireplace was not functional during our stay, which was our only disappointment. We would for sure return to this adorable place!
