Cecile and Marley are the best hosts and provide an unrivalled personal touch in ensuring the comfort of their guests. They were approachable and proactive in ensuring we had an amazing stay, beautifuly supported by the friendly and warm staff and their two adorable dogs! The property itself is located at a short drive from Arusha Airport, close enough to all basic amenities yet situated in an idylic and peaceful part of town, a little off the main roads and busy streets. The property boasts a number of fruit trees that provide an all-day buffet for the guests and local birds. It was no surprise that the food was made with the freshest ingredients (the best home-grown avocados l've ever had!) and the hosts have also recently set up a bar with the much loved island vibes. The bed and room are comfortable and maintained spotless, amenities available to ensure a comfortable stay and they also provide a washer/dryer for the weary traveller stuck with post-safari dusty clothes. In short, this was a stay I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to experience again, definitely for longer next time.

We stayed one week at Stasumo House and it has been great! It’s a beautiful place to stay with a beautiful garden. Everything was well arranged and the food, breakfast as well as dinner, was really good. Michael and Edwin we’re there to help us with everything we needed and nothing was too much for them. We would definitely recommend this place to stay in Arusha!

After a Safari we had a stay over and it was the perfect spot to relaxe, in particular at the pool. But the best were the super friendly hosts who made us feel welcome from the very first second. Had a really nice dinner and we felt just like home. They took us to the airport next morning, even after the airline changed the airport spontaneous and we had to leave the very early morning. After our flight back they wrote us to ask if we had a good journey and arrived well what was a really nice end of our travel.

The staff was very friendly and the common area looks quite cosy.

The pool was very dirty and could not be used, this was probably bad luck though. The dogs are nice and friendly, but like to bark a lot during the night. Quite expensive transfer while it's close to arusha airport.

Stay here when you’re in Arusha. Its definitely the best place to stay in Arusha. The location is good, it’s nearby the car rental company. The rooms are good, small but super clean, hot shower. Also good WiFi. Next to that: you have a whole livingroom and much space outside where you can relax. The staff is amazing, super kind and they did literally everything for us. They were always smiling and very happy. Anna made some delicious meals for us and made our stay perfect.

Cecile, Marley and Michael were one of the nicest people we met on our trip in Tanzania. Stasumo house was on great location, close to the centre of Arusha, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Each morning we got a nice breakfast including fresh fruits, eggs, coffee etc. The property has also two nicest dogs, Kili and Mzungu ♥️ Also great location if you are going on safari, masai tour... Would highly recommend staying at this place! If we come back to Arusha, will be definately staying at Stasumo house. Hope to see you again soon! :)))

Male, Anna the ones who operate the guest house & thier lovely dogs Mzungu and Kilimangaro are one of the best staff crew in Tanzania. Together with their great and comfortable house they will make your stay in arusha plesent and memorable. There is always good coffee Hot water in the shower and good good vibes !

Just all round superb! Owner (Dutch) is really lovely - very chatty and helpful. Drinking water dispenser was available in the dining area (no extra cost). Had a great 5.30am breakfast before an early flight from Arusha, and all of the family were given a bottle of water to take with us - very nice touch. Having a TV and pool was a lovely change from camping facilities in the Serengeti, and the owner's dog was beautiful :-)

Nothing not to like.

Host and staff were very welcoming, we felt immediately at home! The pool was clean and a nice refreshment and you may pet the two dogs the whole day :) And last but not least; the italian voffe in the morning was wonderful!

Poorly soundproofed, when guests sit in the garden and talk and others want to sleep in a room with a window towards the garden.
