We had extended family come to town from several different states for our granddaughter’s 1st birthday. This house was perfect to accommodate all of us from a newborn to 80 year old Great-grandmother. The house has a great open concept which allowed us plenty of room to all be together during the day and yet provided good privacy with bedrooms separated between levels at night. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Ankeny, Iowa.

The house was perfect for our family get together, lots of space, great quality and very clean. Check-in was very simple and the hosts were great to work with.

3 of my veteran deployment buddies and I get together each February to go ice fishing, but the weather just wasn't cooperating this year. We opted instead to stay at this property for the weekend, and enjoyed it immensely. We didn't do much besides BBQ, play cards, and shoot pool & darts downstairs (which was a huge bonus about the house!), just enjoying some reunion time together. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to work with, even allowing one of us to bring his service dog. The house was very clean and would 100% stay again.

Jeff and Abby are fantastic hosts. Very easy to communicate with. It's been 4 years since our whole family has been able to be together. The home had everything we needed and so many good spaces for conversation, eating and entertainment. Would definitely use this home again and recommend it for anyone looking for something in the Ankeny area.

We scheduled a last minute trip to see family over Christmas in Ankeny. There was only 1 VRBO available in town to accommodate our crew. Place was great, perfect for our time with family.

If I could give this property 100 stars I would!! It is amazing!! We were in town for my daughter's wedding reception and this house filled every need!! We even had a sendoff brunch for family and friends and the space fit us all!! You will want for nothing in this house. Completely stocked right down to the comfy throw blankets in the living room. We felt like we were home. Great communication with our hosts!! We loved it and we're so grateful to have a house that felt like home!!

This house was well located for my family coming in from Nebraska, Missouri, and northern Iowa. It was spacious, very clean and with great amenities. We were able to have a great Christmas celebration without being on top of each other. Also bonus surprise was the Christmas tree!

Very clean property just as listed. 13 of us from 1 to 74 had a great family time together. Highlights included a pool tournament organized by 9 yr old grandson. Grandpa won.

We stayed for a weekend at this property and it was wonderful. Lots of room for everyone to roam and enough beds for all of us. It was clean and spotless and would highly recommend this property to anyone. Loved seeing the Christmas lights in the neighborhood that was up. It was a good experience for all of us.

Selected this home for location and that it sleeps so many. In the area for a family wedding. Groom’s grandparents were very comfortable in the master suite and kiddos (and adults) had much to occupy themselves in the lower level. Nice flow between the kitchen (the ultimate gathering place) and upper level living area, but very comfortable in both living spaces. Although too chilly to spend much time outside, the deck and backyard were also very nice. A plus, we were allowed to pull the grandparent’s vehicle in the garage for warmer unloading and loading. Kitchen was perfect for the few meals prepared and shared during our stay. Another wedding in the area, if any, we would love to come back.

Great accommodations and location

This was my first experience with VRBO. We were there for my parents funeral. I knew that it would be a difficult time and I wanted the family to be together and not in separate hotel rooms. Abby and Jeff's property was everything they said it was and the house felt like home. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 living areas, pool table, nice outdoor deck with gas grill gave us room to be together or just a little time alone if needed. The neighborhood was clean, well maintained and safe. When I am sad, one of my escapes is to bake. I was delighted to see the kitchen was fully stocked with sheet pans, mixer, small appliances, dishes, silverware, utensils, etc. which we fully took advantage of by making cookies at 10:30 PM after returning from a day of funeral activities and inviting a close friend over for steak and Iowa sweet corn for dinner the following night. Staying there was much more enjoyable that being separated in hotel rooms and eating out every meal!!! Thank you Abby and Jeff for making our temporary stay so comfortable.

We played golf all over the Des Moines area and chose this house as home base. The house was fantastic. Everyone had their own room and space. The house wasw super clean and modern. Would stay again if in the area! Thanks!

Very clean house that met our needs. Easy to locate, easy entry and enjoyed the pool table that converted to ping pong, and the additional board games at night. Loved the deck for meals and the different seating areas in the house. Would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect location to get together with friends. There was adequate space with numerous great areas to hang out. Whether it was the patio on the back porch, the game room in the basement, or the living room upstairs there was always plenty of room for our group. The house was clean and we never felt cramped. The game room in the basement was an incredible area for our competitive bunch to hang out! It would be a great place for anyone hoping to have a small get together or reunion of friends or family.

We came in for a family wedding and the house made a great base of operations.

Lovely spacious home with plenty of places to store luggage out of the way, (We we’re there for our daughters wedding so we had to of luggage!) The home was in easy access to restaurants, grocery store ect any close to I/35. This is the first time we have every booked an accommodation like this. We will definitely do this again. Thanks

We stay in places often, the location is in a nice neighborhood. The house was clean, checking in as was super easy and the house was so fun. We played pool watched the playoffs slept soundly and drank coffee on the porch in the AM. Hope to stay again next time we’ll take our girls. Thank you Abby & Jeff!

We had 12 ladies stay and it was the perfect home for our group. Truly the pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty of seating, beds, bathrooms. The pool table/ping pong table in the basement is a great amenity. It was located in a cute and quiet neighborhood.

Had a group of 9 friends stay here for a weekend and had a great time. Really a great property and everything as described in the listing. It was perfect for our group and had everything we could ask for. We rarely left the house because it was so well equipped to keep us entertained. If we make our way to the Des Moines area again, we will be staying here!

For our family gathering to celebrate my son’s birthday and attend NCAA basketball games. It’s a great location near 35 with a short drive to downtown Des Moines. We really enjoyed all of the amenities including pool, poker and the seating for watching games. We would definitely love to come back. The owners were great with communication as well!

House was very nice and very roomy! Perfect for what we wanted!

Great place for a family gathering! Everything is available on the first floor for our elderly mother yet plenty of room and a basement with many amenities, for the younger members! They even had a ramp for her to get up the front steps! Tons of stores nearby and when it snowed overnight the owners came and shoveled the driveway! Will definitely look for this house again if we need a place here.

Property was what was advertised. Very clean and spacious with everything available you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts made check in very easy and everything was clearly explained. Will stay there again if in the area and available. Fantastic home to stay in and good experience!
