This is our 3rd stay in this lovely cabin! And it is soo hard to leave. We love the location and the cabin is very clean and comfortable. It has all the things we need but is not cluttered, so we have room for our stuff! Can’t wait til our next visit.

If your idea of a cabin is weird smells, carpeted bathrooms, or indoor wildlife, this will probably be a disappointment. Instead, you can focus on the roomy common area, the spacious porch, or the nighttime quiet and the fresh mountain air that make for a good night's rest. Would recommend and would book again if we return to Maggie Valley.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The pictures didn’t do it justice. You can tell the owner takes great care of their property. All of the furniture was in great shape and the beds were really comfortable. The views are out of this world!! We also saw Bull Elk everyday, can’t recommend enough!!!! We will definitely stay here on our future trips to Maggie Valley

Smoky Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our family! The open floorplan was great for family time and meal prep. We enjoyed meals on the big front porch while watching Elk in the field. One even strolled in front of the porch and we were able to get a great video and pictures. We felt right at home...beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Our host, Brandon, is great and we plan to come back. Thank you, Brandon!

This cabin and our experience was nothing short but amazing. The communication with host was one of the best I have experienced. The place had everything we needed. The decor of the cabin was spot on. We were almost convinced that it was wrong time to see elk but the last night we were there we were on the front porch playing cards. I heard this noise in the back at edge of property and this animal poked its head through all that brush and it was an elk. It came out to the back of cabin and at our truck and we got to get a picture. Then it jumped fence in back and went through the pasture. Just the best trip ever. Thank you Brandon.

This property was wonderful in all ways!! Communication with Brandon was courteous and prompt, the home was clean and well supplied, the ability to see elk up close and personal was magnificent!! We have stayed in this area many times on our motorcycle trips and would highly recommend this home/area as a “ home base”! God Bless!

We had a great stay. The house was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms are a.good size. The views of the mountains was good. I would recommend this house to anyone. I hope to stay again in the future.

Great property, very clean, easy to work with hosts. This was the perfect spot to get to the park out of the hustle and bustle. Nearby hiking spots were amazing. And the elk that greeted us when we arrived made our day.

This was a lovely property. It's was perfect for our family of 3. The scenery was beautiful and we had the pleasure of seeing the elk in the neighborhood. The host was wonderful with communication and willing to help you out. I know we will go back and stay here again in the future.

Such a helpful host! He answered my questions and offered many suggestions about making the most of a Maggie Valley Christmas even before we ever committed to booking. Check-in information was so thorough that we had absolutely zero questions during our stay. Check-out was a breeze without all those weird chores that some *other* hosts make you do. The cabin was lovely and cozy and exactly what we needed to experience Christmas in the mountains.

Enjoyed the easy access in all weather. You will have to share the roads with elk in the evenings. There was a herd of 8 or 9 we saw nightly. Very neat. Home is clean and well maintained. Plenty of areas to walk the dogs. Neighbors were also friendly.

We liked the accessibility of the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities worked nicely. Also as mentioned in the description there really are elk in the neighborhood. We saw two at dusk one evening. One morning we saw eight or nine wandering down the street. Magnificent sight! Would definitely return.

We loved the cabin, the neighborhood and the wildlife! The cabin was very clean and neat. Everything was there or availabile and the manager checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I’ll recommend this cabin to family, friends and everyone. Will definitely stay again!!

The cabin was more than expected! Clean home, comfortable beds and wonderful location. We enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings sitting on the porch. We also enjoyed walking the paved road through the development. We saw Elk in the field near the cabin. We ate at several excellent restaurants but we also enjoyed cooking breakfast and grilling steaks for dinner. We look forward to staying at the cabin again in the near future.

We have vacationed in Maggie Valley for many years. Staying at the Smoky Bear Cabin has been the best experience. Sitting on the front porch in the evening and watching the elk graze in the meadow was absolutely amazing.
