Rented multiple properties in the area for a celebration of life, the cabin definitely needs airing out when you first get there, is in need of some TLC.

Good place for young adults—cousins to get together and reminisce. They enjoyed the pool table for evening entertainment and competition fun. Would come back again.

Nice property. Clean, close to beach. Lots of room. Three main issues: 1) TV and shelf fell off wall downstairs...took pictures...screw broke in half, family was upstairs an scared everyone as we did not know what had happened until we looked around 2) Shower downstairs did not drain properly only able to use it once during our weeklong stay. 3) A bat flew into front room while family was at table playing board game...scared everyone., Tried to get it out but believe it went back under the wood above the fireplace

This property was the perfect spot for our family. We all had bedrooms and enjoyed the upstairs and downstairs family areas. Parking was easy for 3 cars and a 4th would have worked as well. We were there during a significant storm of freezing weather, electrical outage, heavy rain, high winds, and flooding. The wood stove and old heating units in each room worked like warriors. We were glad that we were on "hilltop" and not in danger of flooding but it was unnerving when the neighbor's tree fell on his house. (There may be some trees that need to be evaluated at Uncle Jim's cabin that worried us.) We had dogs and they were very comfortable in house and the floors were perfect. We had to call management 3 times and they were quick to help even during the holiday and stormy weather. Note: the key lock box is not as described in the check-in literature. Thanks for the digs!

Nice cabin. Found stuff under bed that should have been cleaned up. Picnic table broke when we sat on it had to fix it.

This cabin met all of our needs. It is definitely stuck in a time warp, but that added to the experience and its' charm. It was perfect to have the rec room downstairs. We had dogs and there was plenty of space for them to play and access to outside on two of the levels. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the washer and dryer after the big storm to get our things dried. Plenty of extra towels. The kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed to make a few meals. Overall, great experience. The local was quiet. Was great to just leave the house and go on a run with the dog. A huge storm came into the area and while we could see the wind was blowing high in the trees... we did not hardly notice around the house. Quiet area and met all of our needs. Would rent this cabin again next time. It is a charming place.
