We had such a great time here! Very convenient location and we’d definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for welcoming us and our fur baby!

The pictures are accurate. The neighbor hood was quiet. The kitchen and porch were quite small for socializing with friends but it definitely served its purpose. The host was always available and kept me updated on the check-in and check out instructions. If you happen to stay here, the deli across the street is great and there is an Italian market called urzi’s that has everything you need to cook your very own Italian dish if you don’t want to go out. If you do want to go out, Favazza’s is a block away. The food is amazing!

This was the perfect house in the perfect location for our weekend getaway. You can literally see the top of the arch in the distance. Lots of restaurants close by. St. Louis attractions are under a 15 minute drive away. There is a small yard that our dogs could play in and use while we were here. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. It was a very comfortable and cozy house. It is on the corner of an intersection, so there is street parking in the front of the house with a small parking pad in the back to fit a small to midsize car. An SUV or Truck will not fit through the alley to get to the parking pad so street parking is what you would use, which is the norm around here. Overall, we felt safe in this area and would definitely recommend this adorable house to anyone.

The location and setup of this home was perfect for our weekend trip to St. Louis. We were less than 15 minutes away from any of the activities we planned to do. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance! Plus a nice grocery store about 5 minutes away by car. The host was amazing, and responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our trip. She also has a nice guide that includes various recommendations for food and activities. Something to be aware of is the off-street parking behind the house is quite small, so any vehicle larger than a 4-door sedan might not fit. We were very pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay at the Garden House again!

My family of 4 (husband, 13 yo, 5 yo, myself) and 2 dogs spent 4 amazing days in this lovely home. The trip to St. Louis was one we will remember forever - the neighborhoods, the food, the places we visited were spectacular. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The house has all of the items needed for a family to stay. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook simple meals, furniture to unpack bags and make oneself at home, every item one could need in the restroom (even cotton balls), and off-street parking. The house is walking distance from restaurants and grocery stores and centrally located near all that St. Louis has to offer (15 minutes from downtown or the zoo). This truly is a wonder home to stay while on vacation in St. Louis.

Our stay was good. It is an older historical neighborhood and did have traffic. We parked in the front as our giant suv couldn't maneuver the rear parking pad there are white lines on the curb to help you park away from the fire hydrant and not in the neighbors area. The home was clean and updated. Beds were comfy enough. Kitchen was well equiped. The only thing that through us for a loop was the master bedroom has no door on it facing the living room. It only has a door facing the kitchen. The layout of the home requires you to walk from living room to master bedroom then through a door to kitchen , bath, and spare room with a queen that has a barn door. But the master does not have a door facing the living area.. i guess i didnt recognize this in the pictures. So if you need or want privacy it's not possible. My husband and I stayed with our 25 yr old daughter and her best friend so we would have liked the privacy. But we made it work. I think families with small kids, girls trips, etc it would work great for! The zoo was 10 minutes away or less, 4 minutes to botanical gardens, 15 min to grants farm and about 15 min to the galleria. And 15 min. to downtown. We found an italian bakery on the hill a few blocks from.the home. Overall our stay was as expected.

I had a great stay at the Garden House with my adult daughter as we were visiting to attend my son's wedding. We found it to be exceptionally clean and comfortable and is probably the best equipped house that I've ever stayed in. There were even spare toothbrush kits just in case you forgot yours!
We had originally planned to bring our dog and wish we had followed through with that. The grassy side-yard is completely enclosed by fencing making it the perfect spot to let your dog play free without fear of escape.
I highly recommend this property.

This is a cute house that fulfilled everything we needed for the weekend. The only thing I would warn about is if you are a senior and have trouble navigating steps, the outside ones leading to the house are a bit of a challenge. Other than that, Christina was a wonderful host with a book that clearly spells out what she expects from her guests as well as suggestions of places to visit. Her communication was top notch!

St. Louis was our last stop on a 10 day road trip to Covington,Ky, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. The home was lovely and met our needs perfectly. Good location for venturing out to see what St. Louis had to offer. Very clean with attention to detail. Alley parking pad was a plus. Easy checkin/out.

The house is located in a great, safe feeling area which put us within 15 minutes of the Central West End for nice family visits. Supplies were plentiful. There were some spots in the home missed by housekeeping, but it smelled fresh. Overall, the home suited our needs for a short weekend of visiting family.

Christina's property was excellent! The location next to the Hill, as well as the coffee house nearby and the deli across the street made for an easy stay as so many food options were within walking distance. The home was the perfect size. Christina was extremely prompt and helpful during our communications which made our trip so much easier. Would definitely stay again!

This pet-friendly home is the perfect spot for a weekend! The location is perfect for walkable options, and also really quick to get to the major roads for further destinations.
The owners were so helpful and easy to communicate with. We had no issues and our dog was really happy with the fenced yard too!

We live in St Louis but we were having some work done on our home. Thought it would be fun to stay in the city for a few days and hit up some spots we don’t normally visit.
Wife enjoyed taking the baby on walks to parks and neighborhoods she doesn’t otherwise get to visit. I enjoyed a change in the eatery scene.
The house was cozy and perfect for our needs for a long weekend. Bed was firm and super comfortable. Communication with the host was quick and efficient and she was kindly quite flexible when we needed to add on a day to our stay.

For our short stay this was a great location to visit family while in town and easy access to other parts of St Louis. It was also great for bringing pets as there is a fenced in yard. Parking is either street parking or an alley way access to park in the back it's tight fit for a full size suv however it can be done.

What an adorable house that’s been very cutely updated. My best friend and I visited the St. Louis area for our annual 1/2 birthday trip and this was the first trip to St. Louis and it was just delightful and the house was perfect for us! The host was super friendly, extremely communicative and responsive and that is very much appreciated! We can’t wait to come back to the area again!

This house was located perfectly in the middle of everything we planned on doing for our weekend stay. Although it's located near a busy intersection, you don't notice the noise once inside. I loved the fact that my family could bring our dogs along for our stay. Christina responded to messages in a timely manner and included a welcome book with a list of things to do and see close by. Would definitely stay again on another trip.

The place is great, if you are looking for proximity to forest park, the universities, or great Italian food this is it. We stayed a couple nights with our pup and it was perfect for the three of us! Our pup loved the yard, and all the great walks nearby. Kitchen was great to cook in, and the grocery store is less than a 5 min drive away.
Only thing I would have done differently is make a reservation at Favazza's. We heard great things, and they were packed all weekend. it is literally just down the street from this place!

Nicely remodeled house within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants, Italian groceries and deli’s. Close to the botanical gardens too. Highly recommended!

The property is located on a busy corner on The Hill. It’s within walking distance of a couple of eateries. There is parking in the back, but I found it to be tight and didn’t attempt it; I parked on the street. Check-in was effortless. The property is really cute! Loved the tile work in the bathroom. Everything we needed was provided. The host even left us a $10 gift card to a coffee spot down the street; unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use it, but loved the gesture! Beds were comfortable. We brought our two dogs and we LOVED the fenced in outdoor area! It was convenient for us to be able to open the back door and let them out to potty! It was noisy at night - lots of loud cars, music, etc. Loved the guest handbook to provide us with all the information we needed!
If you’re staying with others, it’s important to know that the home is laid out like a shotgun-type home. You move from the front door, through the living room, through the master bedroom, and into the kitchen. The bathroom is right off the kitchen, and there is a small bedroom in the back of the home. The back door is on the small bedroom. So you must walk through someone’s bedroom to get to common areas. Not an issue for us, but could be for others.
Suggestions: the door between the kitchen and master bedroom sticks and is super loud if you shut it and must forcefully open it.
The bathroom could benefit from a potty fan. It gets super steamy in there! Hot showers, though!

My husband and our pup stayed here as part of our honeymoon/road trip. The house was cute, cozy, and super clean while the yard was perfect for our pup. Christina was excellent in answering our questions promptly. A great stay!

Stayed over Labor Day week. Everything was as advertised. Clean updated pet friendly home with everything you need to have a great stay. Cristina was easy to ger hold but I did not need to call her once we arrived. Location is near a lot of sites and events. Would recommend to any family. Only partial negative was it was on two pretty busy streets. Overall great place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this property. The directions were spot on and we always had parking available in front of the property.
The property was so cute, clean, and exactly what's advertised.
We followed a dinner recommendation and found activities to do around the area, with a commute no longer than 10-15 minutes tops.
We'd go back!

I was so happy at how clean the interior was. The house itself is old but once inside you don’t even think about that bc everything has been renovated. I especially appreciated the design of the kitchen and bathroom.
As For recommendations, I would recommend a non-slip mat for the tub and a couple more lamps here and there.
