The location was good - very accessible for visiting Versailles and with nice views over the Piece d'Eau des Suisses. Street was reasonably quiet.

This was really poor value for money and scruffy throughout - so many things wrong that it may be impossible to list them all. This apartment needs big improvements and attention to detail. I book often through Booking.Com (around 10 times this year), I have worked in the travel industry and have lived in an old flat in Versailles for 20 years so my expectations are reasonable. - The reservation process managed by a third party is weird - the agency wants to take a damage deposit and comes to you about a week ahead with a rather menacing messages that they haven't been able to take your deposit (they haven't asked politely, and you have paid your booking in full - in my case 1000 Euros) and will need this to release access details. I cannot remember any other agency working this way, although clearly they need a deposit. So, the apartment: - There is an overmantel mirror in the lounge area which is badly fixed to the wall (I had 2 similar in my old flat which were well fixed). This one moves and seems precarious - rather disturbing for a big heavy mirror close to the dining table. - A light over the sink in the kitchen needs some fiddling to make it work - a poor electrical connection close to water - not good sorry! - The bathroom radiator does not work at all - we were there during a cool period so this was a challenge - The apartment has beds for 5 people. We were 4 and there only enough hot water for 3 to have short showers and then no further hot water all day, including for washing up. - The "wardrobe" in main bedroom was just a wardrobe frame with no doors - not very attractive. Particularly annoying was that for 4 people staying for 5 nights there were only 6 clothes hangers - honestly, what is the host thinking? - The bedroom curtain rail fell down when we first closed the curtains ... why? because the rail had not been fitted correctly with a screw to hold it in place! Simple attention to detail is required. - Just scruffy decoration ...

Excellent location with a great view over towards the gardens of The Palace. Tastefully decorated in traditional French Style. Communication was excellent with great instructions on how to enter the property. Very comfy beds with lovely clean linen.

Location was great for the palace and local food places. The apartment has a good feel, great views and met our needs well. I thought the beds were really comfy, my daughter thought the mattress was a little hard- difficult as everyone has a personal preference on this.

It would have been good to have extra pillows available. The shower didn't have a door which meant you had to be careful not to spray the bathroom floor. A few extra toilet roll would be good- we had to buy extra. Strange window between the single room and double bedroom-no way to curtain off if privacy had been an issue.

Fantastic location a short walk away from the Palace of Versailles, and bedrooms overlooking a beautiful park. A short 5min walk to the local bakeries and restaurants. Comfortable and bright living room.

Quite a bit of noise in the morning from people living upstairs, but not too bad. We also needed more than one thin bed pillow per person to sleep on
