I had a double, bedroom, with a balcony that gave me an amazing view of Lagos. Watching the sunrise was absolutely amazing and in total the Bedroom was modern, especially the bathroom. Supermarkets are only a short walk away and Lagos city center is barely 10 minutes away by foot. It makes the area a bit quieter and you do not have the hustle and noise of the center.

It's a bit of a walk up the hill but totally worth it if you´d like a good view. The bedside tables were a bit fragile and wouldn't be holding long as well as the TV, which wasn´t exactly working, but with the balcony, you really don't need the TV at all. A stove in the kitchen would be nice because you can do only so much with a microwave if you intend to cook for yourself.

Great location, and it has the essentials to spend a few nice days in Lagos. Our room had a separate private bathroom, and the room was clean.

The room was too hot, and the pillows aren't very comfy. I found it a bit expensive for the level of comfort it offered.

Great location. Easy to check in. Good to have a communal kitchen as a bonus.

The kitchen and entry way has an extremely strong fragrance which was quite overwhelming. Maybe something a bit more subtle would be better.

There was a really bad smell in the building and the room.

Location was close to the old town, marina and beach. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

It was very warm even with the fan. It would be great to have air conditioning at the price we paid.

Good size room and very clean

The front door broke and we were trapped inside the property. The owner couldn’t open the door and we only got out by breaking the lock open with a knife.

The room is a bit uphill from the city center and avoids noise at night in the high season. The room and bathroom are in good condition and well equipped.

The room is just above street level so it is not safe to leave the window open during the night. The pillows are extremely soft.

A huge thank you for Lacus Ocean Guesthouse! The location is almost perfect, close to the center but in a quiet area. The building and the shared areas were clean and really handy. Our room was excellent, ocean view, balcony, and private bathroom! The guesthouse crew was super helpful and highly responsive. We even extended our stay with one more night. We could not get enough of the ocean view and Lagos!

The apartment is within a 5 minute walk to the old town. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern. We closed the windows because it's close to street level but it was fine with the fan even though we stayed there end of June.

The common area is quite dark (no windows) so we ended up not using it.

not clean found a cockroach in the room and the bathroom was not the cleanest and the shower was over flowing after 2 minutes

The accomodation was clean and the room was spacious on level 3. the host was lovely and very accomodating, arriving to let us in. we had no issues. location was good with a short walk to the main centre and beach. however with a suitcase it can be a challenge as it is uphill, but worth it for where it is located.

The pillows weren’t very comfortable and would benefit from more or better ones. There was a strong smell of moth balls maybe but didn’t in the room thankfully.

little bit of a trek to reach but that can’t really be changes as it has to do with location, it’s easier to access with car, more tiring on foot especially with suitcases. also, the wifi didn’t work for me for some reason!

Make sure you contact before you get there. We waited awhile and had to walk around a look for WiFi to get in.

10* Couldn't fault it, so I booked an extra night! I could go on about how great it was all day, so I will! The room is exactly as pictured, if not better and bigger! The ensuite bathroom was spotless, powerful shower and had ample towels, a hairdryer, soap, shampoo etc to hand. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm. I'm always cold but the room was a nice temperature and I often had the balcony door open. Great location, my phone ran out of battery on my first night and I could easily locate the home again - great location for the multiple beaches, bus station, restaurants, supermarket (literally next door), new town and old town! In my room I didn't use the wardrobe or the fridge, kettle or glasses but it's great to have them handy anyway and there's always access to the lovely clean kitchen. I also didn't use the laundry service as I had just arrived in Lagos nor did I use the roof terrace as I had my own balcony. The hosts were truly incredible, especially when I had an issue outside of the home (Thank you for your care and kindness), they were very attentive and punctual when needing to retrieve my keys at the start of my stay and when collecting my bag at the end. Genuinely good people! Also the guests were super friendly and very welcoming, great to chat to. My favourite thing about this room.... The view from bed! Watching the sunrise in bed (not just the balcony) was incredible!!
