Very enjoyable just wish the weather was nicer so we could of used fire ring and deck seen elk out living room windows

We had a great time, the house is beautiful and worked out great for us. We saw lots of elk and turkeys and had some great hikes.

House is in a quiet area, we stayed 3 nights. It was exactly what the description said it was. Fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes and some unexpected extras which was nice. Fairly centralized location for wineries, elk viewing, shopping, etc. We always overpack because you never know what your going to get, so we were pleasantly surprised with Spring View Lodge. 2 bedrooms with queen beds, bathroom, sitting/tv viewing area and bar downstairs. Master bedroom with bath, laundry, kitchen, and living room upstairs. Plenty of room for our group of 4. I highly recommend. Owner very responsive.

2nd trip here and as usual it did not disappoint. We highly recommend this place.

A lovely property far enough from everything, yet a short drive to a Walmart. The home was quite clean and overlooks a valley where you can watch the sun rise. It has all basic amenities. Showers, not tubs, pretty good Wi-fi and a TV (though not a smart TV, so no signing into your accounts). If you like music, you'll have to bring your own speaker since currently there is no speaker there you can hook up to through your phone. However what's important is that everything else was idea for a peaceful getaway. Make a nice fire, and just relax. I would absolutely rent this place again.

Spring Hill Lodge served as a great place for us to relax while visiting the area to see the elk. The kitchen is well equipped, the rustic furniture is comfortable and helps to create a cozy, get-away-from-it-all feel. We had great fall weather so the screened in porch was a special place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and a campfire under the beautiful night sky was the perfect way to end the day. Owners are helpful and extremely responsive and have done a great job with Spring Hill Lodge.

The accommodations were perfect and the location put us right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Being so close to Benezette and also Saint Mary’s, we were able to go check out the viewing center and also to Saint Mary’s for a nice dinner. The Lodge was clean, quiet and well maintained and the owners are very nice to work with. Everything we needed was included. The view from the front porch is picture perfect although it was too cold outside to enjoy it for very long. Highly recommend.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful and the view out front was breathtaking. We will definently return. Our vacation was so relaxing!

The lodge is gorgeous. Great location. Everything was perfect, especially all the wild life we saw right in our back yard. Went there wanting to see Elk. As soon as we arrived, two majestic bull elk graced us with their beauty. Shortly after they moved on, a family of deer and a flock of wild turkey paraded by. More than we ever expected! Definitely a place to visit! We will definitely be coming back to Spring Run Lodge!

Upon entering the property all we could say was WOW!!! Very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Lovely view off the front porch. Close proximity to all Elk Country has to offer, really appreciated the fact that it is between Benzette and St. Mary's, so we didn't have a far drive to any attraction. The owners are very responsive to communication and are great to work with. Will rent from these owners again!

We enjoyed our brief winter getaway at the lodge. It was both clean and comfortable. The wood stove added to the coziness at night. The neighborhood is quiet, you can hear some highway noise but it’s minimal. We did see a few deer and elk nearby, the occasional gunfire in the distance but the off-season is a great time to visit the area as there was zero traffic and we really felt like we could explore at our leisure. While there was no problem with cell reception at the house, we did lose service driving, so plan for that if you traveling around the area. If you want a peaceful place to step away from your day to day routine, this lodge is for you.

We enjoyed seeing LOTS of elk and deer. It was also fun to go sledding across the street. Excellent fun for a family.

We had a great time at Spring View Lodge. It was clean and was equipped with anything you would need. The evening was warm enough to sit out on the screen in porch and play cards. We cooked over the fire pit and got a couple of corn hole games in before Leavin. We are only 20 mins from Benezett which we got some great pictures of the Elk. It was a very nice place and we definitely plan on renting it again. Thank you Seth for making our trip wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay with friends! Plenty of room in the home and it was accurately portrayed in the description. Peaceful with great views. We went into Benezette twice while there and it was a quick, easy drive.

We loved the rental. The main floor is layed out a little strange, but it worked fine for us. Rental was in a great location. We saw deer at rental each day/night. Clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying at this rental. It was very cozy and comfy. I would choose to rent this home again. The home was clean and very enjoyable.

We stayed at Spring View Lodge on 8/25/17.  The Lodge wasn’t yet available for renting but we contacted the owners anyway as we had a little league baseball game not 15 minutes away from its location.  The owners were reluctant to rent it as it wasn’t quite ready but after some pleading they agreed, cautioning us that they were still a week away from having final touches applied.    Well… It was great.  Our only regret is that we could stay just one night.  We will be back.  The view was breathtaking, the back porch was great for morning and evening relaxation.  It had all the amenities we could have wanted.  Satellite TV and High-Speed internet were available.  Linens and towels were provided.  The kitchen was complete with nearly everything we have in our kitchen at home.  The bedrooms were cozy and the surroundings were peaceful.  We didn’t have time to enjoy the big back yard or the fire ring but will be sure to next time.   Thanks again for opening up for guests earlier than you were prepared to. We stayed the last weekend of September into October and this cozy home was perfect. The location of the property was easy to find, yet off the highway enough that you felt away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. The road was quiet and the view across was beautiful. The layout of the house gives the place a lot of character; a must see! We used the wood stove in the living room and it kept us warm the entire time of our stay. Downtown Benezette is just a short drive away, and you see lots of scenery on the drive to and from. The owners are wonderful to work with and we will definitely be staying in one of their lodges again next year!

We've visited this area many times, but it was our first stay at Spring View Lodge. The couches and beds were very comfortable, and rooms were tastefullly decorated. The views were spectacular. We saw one deer in the backyard, but during our trip, we also saw other deer, about 30 elk, turkeys, a black squirrel, and amazing fall foliage. We cooked the majority of our meals there but did get takeout from the Benezette Hotel once. The brisket was awesome. It was the perfect first getaway after being stuck at home during the pandemic for so long.

This property is great for a few couples. You’re close to St Mary’s for restaurants/stores and close to Benezette to see the elk.

We had a great time even tho it rained most of the time.. We went to parker dam state park to hike and to the Kinzua bridge,, And of course we seen ELK.. The cabin was super nice just to relax and visit..
