We stayed 9 great days at Villa Tukad. The staff goes the extra mile and beyond to make your stay an experience you will not forget. The cook makes wonderful dishes and the driver takes you anywhere you like. The rest of the staf sees to all the rest without you noticing them (de stille kracht). The beds are good and the porch really is the place to relax and take in the beautiful garden. The vila is located central near Ubud and Canggu Beach. Easy to explore the south part of Bali. The pool is nice to swim in and relax after a full day of exploring. The manager is keen on helping out and knows the right people and spots. Highly recommend 🙏

What a beautiful tranquil villa away from the tourists and traffic of downtown Kuta. Swimming in the pool surrounded by a beautifully kept rain forest, what a feeling. All the staff working there are very friendly and helpful and take care of everything. It's truly a place to relax and enjoy. Unfortunately our stay was cut short by Coronavirus and our government's strong recommendation that we return immediately to Canada. Paul, the owner immediately offered us a refund for the time we had to miss which offset the cost of the return airfare. We are eternally grateful to him for that kind offer. We can only say that when this disaster is over the good people of Bali will need a huge influx of tourists to get life back on track. From the moment we walked through the gates on New Year’s day we knew we had made the right decision and that Villa Tukad was indeed a special place. As we were welcomed through the villa and out on to the veranda, the view over the pool and gardens took our breath away and we were a little overcome with emotion of just how beautiful it was. The photos really don’t do this Villa justice. My husband and I spent 8 nights in the Villa with 3 older teenagers. The girls loved the guest house which gave them some privacy and their own space and all 3 enjoyed the huge selection of DVD’s and hanging out in the attic. We spent our time in the fabulous pool and gardens. This Villa truly feels like a home that is loved and cared for and it made our first holiday to Bali together very special. The beautiful gardens, amazing pool and home comforts allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives and created a tranquil environment to completely relax and unwind. The attention to detail in both the gardens and the villa is what makes this place so special and not “just another villa” somewhere in Bali. The staff were unbelievable, nothing was ever too much trouble and it was comforting to know they were around whenever we needed them. Beautiful warm happy people who make this villa a home. Desak’s cooking was just fabulous. We chose to enjoy a fantastic variety of Indonesian meals throughout our stay and then a stunning lobster meal on our last evening. Coming back to the villa in the afternoon after an outing of shopping or day spa’s (or both!!) to Desak’s welcoming smile and the beautiful aromas from the kitchen is one of many memories we will cherish. Komang’s breakfasts were a wonderful start to our days, and smiling Ketut was always on hand to look after anything we needed throughout day. Budi was a safe & reliable driver, ever patient with us needing to go to just one more shop. Kikki was just a text or call away, fixing any minor issues we had and organising massages at the villa. I was very hard to leave this slice of paradise and we can’t wait to get back one day.

Very quite villa with lush greenery. Pictures does not do enough justice. We have 6 people in our party. With additional detached guest room we had comfortable stay. Staff is great!!! Have enough time to count on traffic when you visit places in Bali.

If you’re looking for a 5 star Villa, this is it!! Stayed for 2 weeks with my niece who came from the UK and we loved everything about our stay...we found it hard to leave this beautiful villa as it was so relaxing and every comfort was at our fingertips. Having been in the hospitality industry for many years and having my own business I would rate the staff 10/10.. nothing was a problem, I forgot my iPhone charger and 20 minutes later Ketut had gone out and got one ! I locked my passport in the safe and couldn’t open it...panic! No problem. The only problem for us (short-term) was getting used to being thoroughly SPOILT! While you are here you must get Desak to cook for you! As good if not better than what you would get anywhere! Komang looks after you in the morning, coffee/breakfast etc what a dream... Ketut and Novi make you feel like royalty and having them close by is comforting.... It is away from the bustle but only a short drive away. Kiki the manager was only a text away and helped us with everything else, no matter how trivial, even ordering, taxis, drivers even our takeaway deliveries!! Look no further than this villa!!!

Lovely Villa set in the more rural Canguu. Close to all things that are needed and not too far from Kuta and/or Denpasar. Villa is spacious and very well looked after. The staff really were amazing enabling us to relax and just take it easy. No request was a problem and all did it with a smile. Desak and Komang were both excellent at preparing meals and allowing us to relax. Kiki also was so helpful and professional as we had a few problems she did not need to help us with but did it with a smile. Thanks to all staff at Villa Tukad you made our holiday wonderful. Look after those cats!!!

It had been a wonderful vacation. The house, the garden, the staff, everything like in paradise. Special thanks to Desak for her fantastic cuisine (specially her chicken curry) and to Kiki organizing all our trips, coordinating with our driver Ketut and giving us ideas about good restaurants. We will come back again and can highly recommend Villa Tukat Luz and Mike from Portugal

Our stay at the villa for our honeymoon was perfect from the beginning to the end. The staff were so kind and friendly, there when you needed but so quiet that it felt like it was just the two of us! The food we had cooked in the morning and evening was incredible, we had traditional food and it was cooked to perfection and has changed our food pallets! The garden was beautiful, so peaceful and restful, the pool was lovely to cool off in and the veranda was comfortable to read books and be calm. The housekeepers and gardeners kept the villa and gardens clean and homely for us and offered advice and help when going out with taxis and exciting places to visit. The villa itself was also beautiful and we felt like we were in a little haven the whole time. Bali was also beautiful, such a different culture and it was a wonderful experience. We went to the temples, the monkey forest, the safari park rode elephants, gitgit waterfall, la lucchiola, had massages in the villa and went to echo beach ... but be careful to walk the right way to old man from echo beach! Our taxi drivers were so caring, offered friendly advice and knowledge and kept us safe. We would 1000% recommend this villa and all the wonderful staff who gave us knowledge about their home, looked after us and fed us wonderful food! Kiki was amazing and so friendly to work with helping us to organise the whole trip. Paul the owner also has been so easy to talk to and helped us with our booking and planning the honeymoon! Soooo brilliant! Dina the dog also was so sweet and protected the villa. Thank you so much for an unforgettable honeymoon!
