We stayed the weekend and wish it had been longer! Well stocked kitchen, very clean, and lots of amenities. Beautiful lake view with nice dock and beach area. Perfect setup for our family including 3 young adults. The fact that it was dog friendly and we had our three dogs with us topped it off. Host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended, we hope to come back!

I have some friends that come to town for a sporting event once a year. We would consider staying anywhere else, beautiful home with a beautiful view and everything you might need on a getaway stay. The host is accommodating to your needs, thanks and we’ll be back next year

The owners were super responsive. There was a minor glitch with the wifi not working and access to the game room. They were there within 30 minutes to get it fixed. Owner was very friendly and offered some nice recommendations on the area. House had all the cooking utensils you could need, plenty of toys & games, lots of space and was very clean. I would highly recommend. We would use them again.

This is one of the best vacation rental homes we have ever had! Jess does it right and is extremely detailed starting with her confirmation communication through the check out process. The house was exactly as described in the website, including every detail pictured accurately. The home was spotless, well stocked, had everything we needed, and had every light switch labeled (which is always helpful in an unknown home)! Comfortable beds, beautiful furnishings, kitchenware, linens/bathroom towels, etc were all great quality and in abundance! The outdoor area was wonderful and enjoyable - from the dock space to the kayaks and paddleboards to the evening fire pit. The game room was a welcome addition as well. The location of the home was also very convenient to shopping if needed and only a 25 minute drive to Uptown. We were a party of 8 and never felt cramped, plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and be comfortable! Barefoot Bungalow is a gem on Lake Norman! A+++

This place was perfect! Everything included. No need to ever leave the property. On the lake with it's own private beach. Kayaks and Paddle Boards included. Amazing view and location. Immaculate kitchen with complete set of pots and pans and everything you could imagine, including a full spice rack. I had no problem cooking for 6. We had a wedding to attend but it ended up being a short vacation. By the way, the garage is a gorgeous 1,000 sq ft. game room!!! Ping pong, Fussball, Several arcade games, including basketball and lounge chairs. Absolutely no reason to book 3 rooms for 2 nights in a hotel when you could rent this house and get soooo much more. Verty glad we made this decision. I STRONGLY recommend you stay here, whether it's only 2 of you or 8 (4 Bedrooms w/4 queens). Worth every penny.

This was the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. The property was spotless and extremely well equipped. Everything about the process was easy. We had 7 adults and 3 dogs, all of whom loved it. There was a small issue with the A/C on arrival, and Jessica had it seen to immediately. Thanks again, Jessica!!

This is a wonderful lakefront vacation home. We were a group of 7 adults ranging from 22-65 and everyone had a great relaxing week. This house has everything you need so you don’t have to stress so much about packing everything. My sons fished from the dock, we enjoyed the kayaks and SUP’s. We had game nights and enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The location is close to stores and restaurants. This is our 5th lake vacation and will definitely tell others.

Property was as described. Hosts thought well beyond the norm with the "little things" that you always need a frequently forget to bring. Communication was fantastic and the place is a gem!

We enjoyed our week at this lake house. The house smelled clean the minute we walked in. The house had everything and we were able to bring our pups along!! All kinds of water activities at the house; paddle boards, kayaks, fishing poles all included! This cove was very quiet and peaceful. The owners were very responsive when something came up and fixed the issue the same day. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

We enjoyed the lake house. The house is decorated so cute and was very clean and very well stocked with items you needed for stay! We enjoyed the game room and loved hanging out by the lake in the chairs and dock. The fire-it was nice in the evening!

Great stay we all had an amazing time

Visited Mooresville for work during my birthday week and this place made the trip feel a little less "business" and a little more luxurious. Big thanks to Jessica and the Barefoot Bungalow for an amazing stay.

Everything about this property was perfect. Great location: convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, the interstate but on a quiet peaceful section of Lake Norman. The house fit 8 women comfortably and was well-appointed, you want for naught while staying there! We didn't use the lake toys or fire-pit but it was nice to know we had the option. We will be back when the weather is warmer!

We truly enjoyed our Christmas stay on the lake. The on site games were wonderful for the cold weather.
