We enjoyed our stay at this charming home. The owners provided everything we needed during our stay. It’s close to town and tucked safely in a gated community. Definitely recommend!

Great property! Cozy, clean and a great location with amazing sunset views.

Beautiful property and an excellent location. I felt very comfortable letting the children play outside as the property is located on a quiet islet of Lake Hamilton that is gated. The house was open and bright - it felt larger than the square footage implies. Sunrise and sunset over the lake was impressive with impressive views. We will most definitely book again!

We were looking for a quiet, convenient place in Hot Springs for a family get away, and this was just that. This home is in a private, gated area, so we felt very safe. There were four of us and there was plenty of room for each of us to have our own space, but we could still gather to eat and watch TV in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets, pillows, etc to make the bed, or couch, comfortable. The house is right on the water, which meant my son could fish whenever he wanted, and he ended up catching a nice fish while we were there. All of the appliances were nice and worked perfectly. The kitchen had pretty much everything you might need to make meals while there. We cooked several meals with no issues. There is even a grill outside which we used to make burgers. There was even pods for both the laundry and dishes to be washed. The only real cons to the house is that it is a little old and feels it at times. The doors to some rooms didn’t always shut the first time. There is some bounce and squeak to some of the floors. Overall, this was a nice place to spend a few nights. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to do and we had pretty much everything we needed.

Pictures does not due the property justice. The kitchen was the perfect size. The master bedroom with all the shutter windows is fantastic, but the view from the backyard….that is one in a million! We spent 3 nights with the fire pit lit and enjoyed the view. We didn’t even spend time in the sunroom. Three bedrooms/three bathrooms and plenty of space. You WILL NOT be disappointed

The view was amazing. Property was close to everything. Lots of room. We will definitely be back. It was a nice escape from Nola for Mardi gras.

Amazing location with gorgeous views. The home was perfect. It had all up to date amenities and appliances. Fantastic kitchen and an Awesome built-in back porch. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds. Each room in the house has it's own AC which was a PLUS since each guest could control their own temperature to their liking. It is only a 10 minute drive to down town Hot Springs. We highly recommend this home and we will definately be coming back in the future!

The house is very nice, as advertised. The layout was cool, we easily slept 7 people. The back patio was especially great, it's where we spent the majority of our down time watching the boaters / water. The beds were a little stuff for our liking but we managed just fine. Overall, great house with nice amenities.

The cottage was roomy and nicely decorated. The back yard by the lake is where we stayed. The kids stayed off the phones and fished. Will stay again.

Everything you would want in a vacation lake house. Super cute interior with all the historic charm but with modern touches.

Experience was very good in spite of the bad weather. Enjoyed the house. One suggestion to make it better would be instructions for the TV's. Finally got U-Tube TV going but never could figure out how to adjust the sound level on the remote. The fireplace was very nice but the control box might need the batteries replaced. Sometimes it would work and sometimes not.

Beautiful old cottage with great updates right on the main channel. Close to Sams Pizza was awesome. Views from EVERY room of the lake. This cottage has always been one of my favorite homes on the lake growing up on Hamilton in the summers.

The view and decor are out of this world. We loved the fireplace and cozy cottage feel. The house is spotless and well appointed. We would love to return. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio with a fire watching the sun set.

What a beautiful setting for a beautifully updated home. The view from the lovely Magnolia Cottage and sunsets off the patio were breathtaking. The home was spotless and had all we needed for a relaxing, mid-week stay.

Very quaint and cozy will be returning again.

Absolutely great!!

I have a disabled child fulltime wheelchair and this locations works well. Except the bathrooms. Now… we are very accustomed to not having idea bathrooms so let me say this house is awesome and very very clean and tidy. We’ve stayed at many VRBO/ABNB and this one is a cool spot. The beds are great. Casper. Yep I looked. Also… if u rent a boat. The dock is on the east side of the driveway. Not the dock you see out the house window to the west. This is a great dock b/c it’s very calm and I was able to get my son in very easy. Worth the price and in fact… they could charge more.

The cottage was magical and the surrounding landscape was so gorgeous. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had every amenity, and the beds were SO comfortable. Great time!

This home is just amazing. Every room has a stunning view. Very well equipped, but we did purchase and donate a coffee pot to the house because we don't care for Kurig K Cups. Very clean and the beds were as promised- extremely comfortable! I will definately be back.

This was my favorite rental to date! This adorable cottage slept our whole family of 7 comfortably. It is well- decorated, well appointed, has comfortable beds and a great modern kitchen. And the view of the lake is to die for. We didn’t want to leave!

Privacy at its finest! Cute home, very close proximity to lake. Views are spectacular, and impressed with shape of home being the most historic property on lake. We would definitely come back and certainly plan on it!

Great lake views, comfortable house.

Everything was just perfect. There were 11 people and we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was furnished with most of the necessities such as shampoo and spices etc. It was very open and modern. Being surrounded by water was unbelievable and it felt like being on an island. We will definitely be going back next year.
