Ruth was fantastic to deal with even though she was away at the time.. the location was easy to get transport.. we had our own car but the bus was easier...couple great places to eat nearby.. all amenities were available ..overall it was a great stay

I stayed in this apartment for 2 days while my partner and I visited Salzburg and it’s Christmas markets in December 2022. The apartment was exactly as described, super clean, very comfortable, and easy to find. The washer and dryer available on site were also great. The owner, Ruth, was very helpful with all of the information she provided us, including about how to easily get to town and to the nearest markets and bakery (thanks for the great map!), and was responsive to all of our questions and needs. She even arranged a taxi for us on our last day! The location of the apartment is quiet, slightly outside town and very near bakeries, several good grocery stores, etc., as well as an easy and pleasant walk to public transportation. It’s a straight shot on the bus to downtown Salzburg (or anywhere else you want), and public transportation is very easy to take here. It’s also quite close and easily accessible from the train station. All-in-all, we had a nice time in this lovely apartment and I would highly recommend staying her, and would do so again in the future. Thank you Ruth!

Excellent property on a quiet street. About 1 mile from city center and very walkable.

The apartment was a great base for sightseeing within the city itself and for day trips. The #1 bus (the stop opposite the bakery) starts before 6.ooam which is excellent for getting a head start on the crowds. We appreciated the use of the washer/drier and the outdoor patio. We stayed in the 2-room Ruth's apartment and it's a good option to visit the city and its surroundings. With the Salzburg card, you get all public transport for free, and even better if you rent bikes to move to the less crowded places in the city.

Ruth gave us a lot of information about the place and how we could get the city center. The apartment was nice and in a quiet place. Thank you Ruth!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Dr. Dick's Salzburg apartment. The location was an easy walk into Old Town and close proximity to some very nice neighborhood restaurants and a good cafe. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for two of us. Dr. Dick provided us with information and maps. We were sorry we weren't able to meet Dr. Dick in person since she was out of town during our stay - maybe next time! We would definitely stay in Dr. Dicks apartment again.

Ruth is an incredible owner! She gave us lots of information about what to do. The apartment is complete and very confortable. The location is also very good, you can go to the old town walking.

We walked from Salzburg to our stay late at night & felt very safe. There are also buses to easily ride into Salzburg. It was in a quaint neighborhood with many excellent restaurants close by. It was a perfect stay for us!

Everything was as described. Communication with hostess was excellent. Easy to reach Altstadt once bus stops were worked out. Probably a 30min walk to Old Town

The apartment was as advertised. Dr. Ruth does an excellent job communicating and had a binder with helpful information in multiple languages. The apartment was within walking distance to the old town...about 17 minutes for me. There are several restaurants close by, two grocery stores and a bakery. We did not feel the need to have a car rental as everything was close and public transportation was efficient. We would recommend the apartment for those looking to stay just outside the old town and in a quite neighborhood. We walked back from town at night and never felt unsafe. If you are a larger person you may find the shower is a little snug. We would stay here again next time we are in Salzburg. Thanks Dr. Ruth!!!!

Studio was comfortable, bathroom shower extremely tight, WiFi always going off and tv losing signal. Not as close to city center as expected, Able to figure out bus transport which was fine but clearer description helpful. Neighborhood quiet. Bit of a walk to get grocery supplies. Washer/dryer worked well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salzburg at Ruth’s place. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to bus stops, market, and bakery, and had everything we needed, including access to washer and drier. Ruth provided a wealth of information, including maps of the city and public transportation, as well as ideas for hiking and day trips., and contact info in case something went wrong. (It didn’t.) Her directions for finding important places like bus stops, restaurants, and markets were accurate and helpful. We especially enjoyed the neighborhood beer garden Weinstucki Stadheurger, and for a treat, St. Peter Stiftskeller restaurant, both on Ruth’s recommendation.
