We had a wonderful stay at this property! We were a group of 12 professionals in town for a trade show. We found this property to be the perfect space for meals together but private spaces to rest. The pool area is amazing and the property is beautiful. The host is very responsive and generous in their communication and help! We will be back!

We hosted a professional retreat of 12 adults at Kristen's property. It was perfect for us - everyone got their own casita or private room in the main house. We had plenty of common spaces for meeting and socializing. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed going on walks and meeting the cows and horses. Kristen was extremely helpful and easy to work with, and often went out of her way to help coordinate deliveries and services for us, set up the fire pit for us to have bonfires at night, and was extremely responsive whenever we had a question during our stay. We were a bit of a high maintenance group with the all of the various logistics we were managing, and Kristen was nothing but kind, flexible, accommodating, and communicative. And even with all of Kristen's support, we still felt that we had a lot of privacy during our retreat. Extremely positive experience.

Our family enjoyed our stay, The property manager was friendly and very accommodating, There was a lot of space and we enjoyed the bonfire, gym, trails and feeding the animals. The place was clean and they provided all of the necessary accessories.

Had a group of guys in town for a golf vacation. This property was perfect for our stay: i) everyone had a private bedroom and bath (beds were super comfortable), ii) main house was perfect gathering place for breakfast and dinner each night, iii) on-site fitness facility, iv) pool area was fantastic, v) really enjoyed the fire pits on the property for reliving the day's golf activities (Kristen, the host, provided ample firewood and extra seating for us). Highly recommend this property. We hope to use it again on our next golf trip to Tucson,

This property is stunning! I organized a retreat here and it was the perfect fit for our group. There was plenty of space and privacy for our 16 person group. Kristen is friendly, responsive, and accommodating! We had positive interactions with her spouse and the staff onsite who made us feel welcome. Our retreat participants felt safe and enjoyed exploring the property and nearby ranches. Our favorite part of the experience was visiting the cows and horses on site! The ranch is beautiful and perfect for large or small groups. Kristen accomodated our work team retreat and went above and beyond, including receiving deliveries before we arrived, early check-ins, even s'more sticks and firewood! All the rooms are clean, comfortable, have fridges with drinks, and the bunk room is perfect for kids. The house is beautiful and roomy with so many places to conduct separate meetings or have space to just retreat to by yourself. The horses and other wildlife are the icing on the cake. The location is also very near a grocery store and restaurants. Overall a 5-star stay! Thank you, Kristen and family!

this is a great property! the owner/hostess was onsite and she was incredibly responsive. The pool area is fantastic, the big house is very nice and the casitas, while rustic, afford privacy and the basics needed, e.g. towels, coffee maker, mini fridge, etc. This is an ideal spot for a family reunion, small corporate retreats and similar events. Highly recommended! The neighborhood is also good for walks, lots of small ranches nearby.

This property is amazing! You feel like you are at a 5 star resort. None of our group wanted to leave! Kristen was wonderful to work with. Every detail was covered and anything we needed was arranged. Can't say enough good things about it!

This place was beyond amazing. The pictures do no justice for how the property looks in person. We had our wedding reception here and the pool area had more than enough room to accommodate all 20 people and made for beautiful photos. Kristin was more than helpful and made us feel right at home. The horses and cows were just a short walk away and they were perfect for the kiddos to feed. Words can’t express how amazing the property was, would give this place 1000 stars if we could.

Kristen and Chris were both very friendly, helpful, and kind! Their property is a magical and more than you could ever imagine. We saw lots of wildlife (some we would rather have not seen lol) and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. The pool is more spectacular then we had anticipated. The water stayed cool all week long and there was more than enough room for all 25 of us to enjoy it at the same time. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Beautiful property, pictures don't do it justice! Very peaceful place for a family get together

We all LOVED this place. To say it's a place isn't even fair - it's got lots of green space to stretch out in addition to so many areas to gather together and socialize. The pool area is what initially convinced me to book and it was even better in person. There's ample amounts of shade for those seeking to stay out of the sun, too. Kristen was awesome - as she was with previous guest reviews. The main house is a bit away from the 7 casitas, but the walking paths are lit at night. We never locked our doors, either. This place is so great that rather going there for an event, we're thinking of planning an event just to be there.

We were a little hesitant to book this listing. At the time, there were no reviews, and the house seemed a little too good to be true. However, it didn't take long to learn who the owners were, and the house was indeed real and rentable! There were 9 adult women from all parts of the US, and this was our annual get-together. All 9 of us were blown away by this property. Not only were the owners as lovely and kind as it gets, we each had our own rooms/bathrooms. Each casita was decorated a little differently. The main house is a bit of a walk from the pool area and casitas, but for us, that was not a problem. As we learned, the house is in the desert, and there are desert animals, so you must be aware of this. I wouldn't suggest walking barefoot, in the dark, across the large lawn/driveway area. The pool area was unbelievable, and the gym was an added bonus that we used every morning. I would highly recommend this for any big group/family function. We LOVED it. Thanks again for our wonderful experience!

Everything about this place was great…could not have been better. Kristen was a wonderful host, and responded very quickly to any needs we had. We had a party at the pool on one of our nights there, Kristen and team had the pool area set up for our party, it was beautiful and everyone had an amazing time. If you need a VRBO to house a lot of people, there is not a better place in Tucson! Thanks a million Kristen!

Everything about this place was amazing. We had high expectations from the photos but somehow it still exceeded them. There are so many wonderful features about the property. The kids never wanted to leave! It’s a great location with easy access to outdoor activities. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and everything was in good order. We would go back in a heartbeat. Kristen and Chris are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. Thanks so much for a wonderful week!!!

Kristen makes it incredibly easy to stay on this beautiful property. It is very clean, well appointed and an awesome outside area! No brainer to stay here!

I am not typically a person who "gushes" about anything but this property was nothing short of spectacular. My family was in town for a wedding and we had five families, with ages in the range of 5 to 82, a total of 16 people. I could not have selected a better property if I built it from scratch. All of the casitas were wonderfully appointed and were well appointed, comfortable, welcoming, and just a delight. My husband and I and my elderly parents stayed in the main house and the other families were able to have their own space at the casitas-with easy access to the main house. Everything you could need was provided. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area is absolutely to die for gorgeous. The owners also own a landscaping business and it shows! There are multiple spaces to sit and soak up the sun and a book, or sip a glass of wine or cup of coffee - indoors and out. Very easy to be on your own or together. There are multiple fire rings where you can enjoy a fire outside at night when the desert cools off. All of the furnishings are super comfortable (beds a delight, multiple pillows to choose from, comfy couches, recliners, etc.) and you can tell the hosts really want people to enjoy themselves. The hosts are in a house on the property and are honestly some of the nicest people I've ever met - ask them to share the history of the place! It's a wonderful story. The hosts helped us build a big bonfire by the pool and we invited wedding guests to the property for a small party. The location itself is great - there is a Safeway within 5 minutes, multiple restaurants as well. About 20 minutes to downtown (an easy drive) and very close to great hiking at Sabino Canyon and Saquaro National Park - East. If you want a walk, there is a great one practically right out the front door. Everyone in the family loved it and we can't wait to go back!

Wow, Wow, Wow- Kristen and her husband are exceptional host and go over the top to ensure you have a great stay. I could tell numerous stories in regard to their excellent customer service and communication. The accommodations and uniqueness if their property is a gem.

We were looking for a place to stay in the Tuscon area for a long weekend that would accommodate a large group of family members. We were coming to AZ for a wedding. Our group of 17, consisted of aunts, uncles, and cousins ranging from ages 14-55. We loved every minute of our stay here. The property and grounds were awe -inspiring! So many beautiful sights and beautiful views. We enjoyed walking the paths, admiring the fountain, and saying hello to the cows, Lola and Darla daily. Such a serene environment! The main house and the casitas had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated rooms, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space to gather at the main house for a meal, hangout on the porch, the family room or enjoy a fire in the fire pit. The pool area was our favorite place to congregate. We had a lovely day Saturday, grilling burgers, swimming, and enjoying our mini family reunion. Kristen and Chris were the most gracious and accommodating hosts. Chris got the bonfire going for us so we could enjoy the pool area well into the evening. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the property. Thanks for the tour of the wine cellar (it's amazing) and the stories of this beautiful historical ranch. Kristen checked in with us every day and was extremely helpful in directing us to grocery stores, restaurants', etc. This spacious property provides you with the vibe of being in your own private serene world, but grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, hiking trails are just minutes away. Our cycling team held its annual training camp in Tucson last week, and we used this house as our launch pad. We primarily chose it for its location in Tanque Verde: close to Mt. Lemmon, national parks, bike trails. However, we were quickly impressed with the property itself. Three unique buildings are separated by acres of natural habitat and a pool area like none we had ever seen before. On our last evening, the owners hosted a bonfire and dinner for us as well. We did not expect such hospitality, but we sure enjoyed it. Here are some of the comments from members of our group: "Wow, what a location. The pool area and attached wine cellar are astounding. You can tell that they really put a lot of work into this place." "The property was great and the hosts were amazing! They made sure everything was just right, and they went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible stay. Thank you!" "The owners really went out of their way to accommodate us. When the hot water went out in one of the bathrooms, they replaced the water heater immediately. They resolved other kitchen issues quickly as well. This was easy because they live right next door." "I love the open feeling of the property. It's far enough from the city to feel like you're on a real ranch, but close enough to make quick trips to restaurants and shopping." "We will forever remember this as 'Lola's place'." (Lola is the friendly cow in the corral at the back of the property, which guests can visit).

This Tucson property is incredibly special. With the main house and the multiple casitas, it is the perfect destination setting. It could serve as a great place for reflection and retreat, or for a festive celebration. The property is amazing with the beautiful landscaping, mature mesquite trees, pool, outdoor bar, wine cellar, stable, green spaces and Arizona landscape. It feels like a remote, restful, oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but it is actually just a very short jaunt from all the needed conveniences, stores and restaurants. The surrounding roads are quiet, barely traveled and lined with hobby farms and animals such as sheep, horses, cows and small pigs. There is a great 3 mile loop that is perfect for a walk or a run. The main house is immaculate, updated, and well-appointed. There is a great dining table (picnic table style) that is perfect for games or laptop work. There are outdoor firepit spaces, a screen porch, and anything you could need to prepare food. The casitas are so cute, rustic, but very comfortable and spacious with big closets and nice bathrooms. And the hosts are incredibly friendly, gracious, and helpful. We loved this trip and this place!

This property is gorgeous and the owners are the most kind, organized, and respectful people I have ever had the pleasure to coordinate with. I rented this property to 1) gather friends from around the world for a long weekend, and 2) throw myself a milestone birthday party with 50 guests. It served both purposes extremely well and was an absolutely perfect weekend. I, along with out of town guests, stayed at the house/casitas. The event (with an additional fee) was at the pool area. The layout was perfect. The house & casitas were beautiful and well stocked. The owners quickly responded to any requests, including building campfires for the chilly January evenings. The grounds are stunning. It is difficult for any picture to convey the beauty of this place. Enormous mesquite trees, so many sitting and lounging areas. It feels like you are at a resort. The location is in a beautiful area of Tucson with many horse farms. You feel like you are secluded, but it is just a short walk, or drive to a large grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants. You wouldn't know that the cows and horses were there if you didn't look for them. But if you want a good cow snuggle - Lola's your girl. She is the sweetest!
