Comfortable beds, big sitting area, lovely garden, good parking

No instruction manuals so difficult to operate oven and even dishwasher. Impossible to message owner, had to pay in full on booking, downstairs bedroom smelt damp

Heel fijn huis, grote woonkamer voor samenkomen, mooie tuin om met een groep in te zijn. Ruime slaapkamers (op 1 na, en dat is nou net de slaapkamer met 2 bedden), fijne badkamers. Een heerlijk huis om met een groep te zijn!

Het is een beetje jammer dat 4 van de 5 slaapkamers dubbele grote bedden hebben, waardoor het delen van de slaapkamer minder makkelijk is. Twee losse bedden is fijner.

The house felt like faulty towers Plugs in the sink wouldn’t come out The curtains were off the rails Blinds were so flimsy we didn’t want to open windows incase the blinds broke The bed in room 2 was the worst bed anyone had slept on - anyone who slept on it had a bad back The electric plugs in room 2 sometimes did not work The step between the kitchen and downstairs toilet - there is a stuck on edge on the step , we only know it’s stuck on because 2 different people fell off this - huge health and safety issue The kitchen looked chewed up around the edges from where dogs have chewed The dining room chairs where dirty The carpet leading to the upstairs was dirty ketchup stains on it

A lovely roomy and light house, well located, near the village and the Tor. Spacious rooms and a big kitchen, the garden is lovely too. We had a great time!

The biggest rooms only had double beds, which makes sharing a bit uneasy (twins would be nicer, and there is plenty of room in these lovely large rooms.) But what was really uneasy was how to get in touch. There is no direct way to communicate with the owner, it should all go through Sykes, who responds only with a standard reaction and not in regards to a question ('are there towels provided?'), Sykes whishes you to subscribe to their website and handle those questions there, but booking I made was not to be found on their site in my account, after I made one - when trying to call I waited for half an hour but did not get through - and on emails I only got the same standard mail). Everything was in order in the house though, so it all worked out. :)
