We spent 10 days at Podere Jana for our wedding, with 30 guests ranging from ages 9-84. Put simply, the property and the whole area is breathtaking and definitely highly recommended. The pictures do not do the property justice at all, we were very pleasantly surprised. The property itself is spread over 2 buildings, the main house with 7 apartments (spread over 3 floors) each with their own kitchenette and bathroom. There is also a second building with large dining room and games area, kitchen and a another apartment above. This gave our families room to spread out so you had some privacy. We opted for air conditioning which was welcomed! The communal areas are spacious and the outside bbq area is fantastic for big groups with plenty of seating. The pool itself is very large, not too cold and there were plenty of sun loungers and chairs for everyone. The hot tub was also a great addition, and very well used by the group! We had our wedding at the property and it was the most magical setting, we used the services of Special Happenings and Oasi Dolce for the reception dinner who were brilliant. The staff onsite are a credit to the owners, the cleaner came to site twice a day to ensure communal areas were clean and she is so helpful and friendly. Paola who also lives locally was a great help when we struggled with the language barrier and I was delighted when they came to watch the wedding ceremony, I was so pleased they had come along and they captured some beautiful details. Every member of our party commented how much better the place is than the listing shows! Vinci itself is a lovely day out and easy to reach by car. The main attractions in Pisa, Lucca and Florence are all easily accessible by train and there is ample car parking at the station. There are lots of supermarkets locally and vineyards and restaurants. One tip, bring insect repellent! The area is beautiful with lots of Olive trees and other greenery (the fig trees are amazing!) but you will need repellent. Overall a perfect 10 days and I would like to say Thankyou to the owners and on-site staff for making our holiday so special.

We had a group of 13 extended family members stay for a week at Podere Jana late July/early August. It was like having a small resort to ourselves! Amazing pool and air conditioned kitchen area where we could all meet and eat together. Each apartment had it’s own small kitchen as well. Close to many great areas of Tuscany so perfect for day trips. We had a caterer come to the villa and prepare some of our meals as well as assisting us with local reservations. Overall a fabulous time - great villa!!

Our extended family (27 people in total) stayed here in July 2022, and it was wonderful. The villa is large and spacious, with multiple self-contained apartments - all but one physically located in the same large building (an old farmhouse). There is also a large common area - which includes a pool, and common eating facilities. The combination gave everyone plenty of space for us to all get together, while the apartments gave you the chance for privacy when you wanted it. It was wonderful. The location is up in the Tuscan hills, providing breathtaking views and sunsets - and yet is still just a 10-15 minute drive from shops and a train station (making it easy to get to both Florence and Pisa). All-in-all we had a fabulous stay here, it's got a great location and is incredibly picturesque, and I completely recommend the villa.

We were absolutely overwhelmed and charmed by this place. The apartments were spacious and it was great to have a place to retreat to for each family; the common spaces outside near the common kitchen and pool were airy, beautiful, and a delight to spend time in. Everything was sparkling, and there were doves and olive orchards all around. Stefania and Alessandra were incredibly helpful and responsive. It turned out to cost extra for air conditioning, which was very necessary (and I didn't realize this from the beginning), but that was the only unpleasant surprise. Overall, the whole experience was a joy.

We rented the villa for our group of 21 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved that we all had our own apartments to retire to at the end of our long days of being tourists but also had plenty of room to gather for a meal together and the pool was a great size for our group. Gianluca and Paula took care of our every need and gave us great suggestions for nearby things to do. Speaking of which, we went to the top of the hill almost every morning for cappuccinos at a small market & bar that has been family run for over 90 years. It was a great way to start each day. The only complaint that anyone had was that the beds are all very firm and for side sleepers, it meant some stiff hips and shoulders in the morning. I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

We had an amazing stay with Stefania and her villa in the Tuscany hills near Vinci. The villa and apartments are amazing and spacious. The kitchen and community area allows dinner for 30+ people. The kitchen helps to prepare for the same. The pool offers you a quiet area to relax and see gorgeous sunsets. We will come back!

Podere Jane proved the perfect spot for six families who were looking for a joint vacation together. The pool and views are amazing and everyone had their own well-appointed and air conditioned apartment. Caretakers Gianluca and Paula were incredibly attentive and made our stay easy and enjoyable. The property is also a great spot from which to visit the nearby village of Vinci and Empoli or from which to venture out for a short drive to Florence, Chianti or Lucca (some of our favourite day trips). Our hosts also catered two beautiful meals for our entire complement of 21 adults and kids and the food was amazing. Highly recommend.
