Pathway to the backyard/entrance is loose rock, broken limbs and exposed plastic. Oven does not work. Nicely furnished and well equipped.

Very clean, we enjoyed our stay very much. If you have upstairs guests renting the #2 unit you will hear every footstep while they're walking around, moving chairs etc. Some things to look out for are in the instructions that vacasa sends you. They said there would be a key to get into the house inside of the entry way but we never found one and this would have been way easier than inputing the door code over and over. I asked guest services about it but got no answer or a reason like we've lost alot of keys so we aren't keeping one available anymore etc. I couldn't connect to the wifi, brought up to guest services but no answer, but the roku tv was already signed in to an account and could watch streaming services just don't know if that individual was the owner or some guest who forgot to sign out.

Property and furnishings were fine but some things were very frustrating and in some cases concerning. 1. We were instructed to park in back along the alley way. After going through an alley with grass sometimes 3 feet tall (fire hazard?) we found that lower in the arrival instructions it says we can park on street. Please correct these conflicting instructions and/or have someone mow the grass in the alley. 2. First stop was bathroom only to find someone had left me a welcome gift as there was an unflushed #2 filling the bowl. 3. Later I opened the drawer to grab a utensil to find that a knife was in the drawer with peanut butter on it (top knife no less). 4. Went to put cups and utensils in dishwasher to find it was already full. 5. Showered and found that it hadn’t been cleaned including very curly hair on the walls. 6. Dryer had contents when we went to use it. Other than the above it was fine.

Our favorite band brought us up to the beautiful state of Alaska. This was the perfect location for a short walk to the venue, Matanuska Brewing. The unit had everything we needed including a washer and dryer, which was key to being able to pack lightly. Also, a quick drive to Eklutna Lake and Thunder Bird falls. Neighbors were super friendly!

The description never mentioned this home is in a basement. I would not book it if I knew it. Took a while to find out the entrance. And the basement’s entrance is not even face to the street, it’s face to the back alley. Which “beware of dogs” signs in back alley neighborhood. Very very hard to drive my car in to the back alley and park in the designated parking space. No shampoo and body wash are provided, have to bring my own. The home is clean. Kitchen is big.
