Breakfast was very good. Plenty to choose from and cooked well.

A lovely warm welcome from Helen and Adam. The venue is very nice. There is a bar and food available. I arrived just as the kitchen was closing but I got fed anyway (thank you!). The food was tasty and reasonable in price. Plenty of parking available too. My room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great!
The shower cubicle was a little small but really, there wasn't anything I disliked.

everyone was very welcoming and helpful, really good location for all the actives we’d planned, room was lovely overlooking the mountains and hills and safe parking for the cars.

Friendly and helpful owners, the location and the cozy atmosphere in the bar. Our family-suite had 3 bedrooms and an good bathroom which gave us a lot of space!

The location is absolutely stunning, the view is epic and it's a perfect place to stay for walking snowdon.
We found the owners to be very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and history.
Can't wait to visit again!

An old building with a lot of character, very comfortable and cosy as well.
Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and welcoming, went out of their way to make sure our stay was a good one, we would happily stay again.

We had a good 3 nights stay at Elen’s castle in Snowdonia
Just a 10 minute drive from Betws-y-coed city centre, this is a good choice for a quiet stay.
Helen was on time with the delicious English breakfast spread and the rooms were just the right size for a couple.
Highly recommend.

Very comfortable stay in the heart of Conwy valley. Definitely recommend having breakfast and dinner as well.

Helen and Adam are lovely open people who clearly get on well with the locals, too. They were full of sensible tips about places to visit, bearing in mind the increasingly wet weather.

Full English breakfast was good, and we also enjoyed our evening meals.
Room was clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains and valley.

Most wonderful location, beautiful inn. Room was very comfortable, restaurant had excellent food. Hosts were gracious and we spent quality time each night by the fireplace sharing stories.

The welcome was excellent and the owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic and the chef was very accommodating with requests. There is a lovely well stocked little bar with a really welcoming wood burner - very welcome as the weather was extremely wet when we were there. The restaurant also does an evening menu. All choices were very tasty. Excellent location making it easy access to all of the area.
Our room had an EnSite which had been squeezed in the corner with a dividing wall making it very tiny. Also would have liked some covering on the window as felt quite exposed when using.

En-suite shower was small and had a curtain. Mattress on bed was a bit thin. Restaurant closed on 2 nights out of 3 we stayed, but they are open 5 days a week

Disappointed that breakfast was only served between 8-9am… We had to leave early and therefore missed breakfast as they had no flexibility
