The place was very clean and the location was great. It was very central to other areas of the city, and the neighborhood had plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach was also a very short walk. I would recommend getting some more lights in the apartment and maybe a dehumidifier. It was cold and damp and dark but we didn't spend much time inside other than sleeping.

We had a blast at this spot, space was very clean. Two minor things was the humidity within the space and the lack of lighting. If you are looking for location, this is a great spot.

Perfectly situated between the ocean and bay. Lots of room inside. Kitchen had everything I needed. Comfortable and clean. Near great bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

This was a great quiet location. Quick walk to beach or bay. The neighbors are awesome and it was very peaceful. To get anywhere you need was a quick drive. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions.

This beach house was the perfect/most vibey little spot for our end of summer family trip! We brought our 9 month old and 2.5 year old and has the BEST time ever! So cozy and accommodating and right in the heart of anything you could want! There’s no shortage of options for breakfast, coffee, dinner, shopping right smack between the ocean and the bay. We felt so at home which says a lot when having two little kiddos away from their routine, beds, etc! I wish I could give this experience more stars because we made lifelong memories and are so grateful.

We arrived the night of the non-hurricane Hillary. The place was neat and tidy. It’s small but serves our purposes well. Beach and bay time everyday. Walkable to restaurants and bike riding paths are so convenient as well as boat launch and parking was not a problem. We had a few minor issues from the weather but the responses were fast and were resolved asap. Friendly neighbors, good area and BBQ and porch chairs were appreciated. Allowing a dog was really helpful. All in all a great stay. I would return here again as it was one of the few places that we could afford. Bonus: There is a fantastic coffee cart right outside the front door. We were spoiled with delicious coffee and homemade empanadas everyday!

It was the right size, with the right amenities and in a perfect location. Close to great restaurants The Olive, Molly’s, Mission and Guava Beach Cafe. The coffee shop next door gets you up early, but so close to enjoy fresh coffee each morning. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fun little cottage and loved the coffee shop neighbor

The rental process was smooth. The owner/host was always very quick to respond to any questions. The home was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They had a lovely bag of waters and snacks when we arrived, which was really appreciated. Parking was tricky. We were never lucky enough to get street parking. We always had to park in a parking lot that was a bit of a walk from the property. It wasn’t an issue except when it came to loading and unloading for our arrival and departure. The location is great, it was a quick and easy walk to the bay or the ocean. There is a delicious coffee place right by the property. It is convenient, however, the noise from the coffee place woke me up each morning since it is quite close by. Overall, we would stay here again, we would just pack less since we had to walk a bit with our luggage.

Loved the proximity to the beach. Cottage was very clean and well stocked. The biggest drawback was noise level. Coffee shop opens very early and bar across the way closes very late. Bring white noise or use the fan to help with this. The second bedroom is very awkward as the bed is against the wall. These are minor but FYI. Thanks Molly and team for a nice stay!

there was so much around us to keep us busy. the place was very cozy and comfortable. it was the perfect size for us and just a walk away from the beach. the owner responded fast and was able to help with any of my questions. i would defs stay here again

Was an amazing place to stay with our family. Parking was a little tricky and you had to stay on top of it but we got a close spot every day and stayed all week. My family had a blast and walked all over the place.

We loved it, perfect location! Here is some tips for next groups. Parking can be a pain but we found it is free on bayside (just walk down Portsmouth from condo to bayside and look right) there is free overnight parking there with wheelchair parking too. Also, if you need your Starbuck it is a really long walk to Belmont to get it. Recomend taking a public scooterd or the bikes, yes they cost $$$ but the cheapest one is the bike version (Wheelz) but if you don't want to do that there is a coffee place 3 buildings down called the Buzz on the same side as the condo (Perfect for the kids too, they have hot chocolate and chocolate croissants for them) Also 4 doors down and across the street was a mom and pops liquor/convenience store, so if you need more ice,milk, etc... As far as the condo, it was very nice inside had everything we needed. They provide beach towels, extra pillows, and have fans in the room. I myself am going threw hot flashes so I brought my own fan for in my room to be more comfortable. So if you are always a hot person bring a small one with you. We also had my friends grandson (age 9) come the last minute with us and he slept in a sleeping bag on the floor in the bigger room. So plenty of room. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Ps. bring a sweatshirt and sweatpants for at night and on the beach no matter what season it is or you will definitely be buying one there if you don't. Already miss it. Thanks Alicia

Great place in great location. Just as described.

We had a wonderful time at our stay at our vacation beach house in Mission Beach, San Diego. The house was very clean and well supplied for cooking. It was also in a great location with many stores and restaurants close by. And it was a block away from the ocean one way and a block from the bay the other way. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this beach vacation rental.

We loved our stay at Molly’s place in Mission Beach. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the nearby cafe with great coffee and the beach toys for the kids. And of course the lovely welcome basket was a bonus! We only missed a laundry, but this was more my misunderstanding.
