We were a bit apprehensive of securing this rental with the prior reviews, but found the place to be awesome! The owner has taken steps to correct issues in prior reviews, there were pest control sonic devices around the house and we didn't see a single insect. The temperature, albeit spring, was extremely comfortable with a mini-split unit in the master suite and standard HVAC system in the main house.The neighborhood appears to be gentrifying. There is new million dollar construction going on in the neighborhood. The park behind the property was well lit and a wonderful walking path. The firepit on property was a wonderful place to unwind after a day and it was so quiet outback that you forgot your proximity to the city.An extremely comfortable stay for my wife and I, our dog, our two adult children, and my wife's parents. Lots of room, well apportioned with corn-hole and comfortable seating inside and out.We wouldn't change a thing!Any questions which we did have were promptly answered by the owner by email or text.

The pictures make the home look a lot bigger than what it is. Roaches were inside and everywhere outside. The front yard grass was up to my knees. The backyard grass was mowed, just not edged. The A/C in the living room was leaking when we arrived to I contacted the owner, someone came and took the A/C unit and nothing was ever followed up. It was HOT in the living room. The master bedroom is HUGE! And it had its own A/C unit so it would get freezing in there. So, we were comfortable but unfortunately the rest of the family wasn’t. The back bedrooms are outdated and hot. The owner is prompt in returning calls and even allowed early check in, so that was nice. But, this is the first VRBO I’ve been really disappointed in.

Such a fun and relaxing vacation. This home has perfect location for beach, crab island activities and dining. Couple things do need to be fixed in the home. But the cute backyard with the park in the back made up for it. Definitely would love to stay here again

No complaints really..the only issue is the air but they were quick to fix. Also beware the pictures taken make the house look much larger than it actually is. However it is nice. The neighborhood coming in isn’t great looking but it is next to a very large and nice new build and we had no issues! Would stay again.

The house was beautiful and accurate! We stayed 5 days. My favorite was the Master bedroom and backyard! It was a beautiful property! It’s so close to the grocery store and Fort Walton boardwalk and beach! It’s plenty enough room for a group of 12! THE WATER WAS SO CLEAR and GORGEOUS at Fort Walton Pier and Beach. We will be back again and this was a beautiful property. The neighborhood looks not so up to pair coming into it but we felt safe and had no problems and was so close to the BEACHES! Def worth the stay
