Jayme’s house was perfect from the minute we arrived, until the minute we left. The house was clean, comfortable, and charming! Jayme was the best hostess and made sure all of our needs were met throughout our entire trip. The extra snacks and beverages were a wonderful touch. I would not hesitate to return in the future!

Easy walk to waterfront and historic sites. Had everything we needed. Parking and downstairs bath are tight, but not an issue. Would stay here again and enjoyed our first trip to Edenton.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving

This home away from home was everything needed and so much more. Attention to detail unparalleled, but with all of the modern conveniences. Loved that all of charm of the original home was preserved. The owner was very responsive to all communications and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. I hope to return to Edenton in the spring and will definitely book this home again.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home in downtown edenton. We were in town for a birthday getaway, and upon arrival the wonderful host Jayme Lynn had decorations and cupcakes to make us feel special. The home is beautifully laid out with a huge kitchen, living room den and 3 bedrooms 2 baths. Felt like we were in a southern home magazine ❤️ The home is walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, which we loved. The bedrooms were extremely clean and cozy, and after a fun night out with dinner and drinks it was so relaxing to take a steaming hot shower and get right in the comfortable bed. Me and all my guests (5 of us) had plenty of room to spread out throughout the house and will definitely be booking again for all of our edenton trips. Such a gem and we really felt like our host took the extra step in making her property a memorable one to her guests, oh and did I mention she had snacks and drinks for us? I mean we didn’t want to leave!!

We did have a category 1 hurricane during our stay but found our house cozy and secure! We did what was opened in town, took trolly tour and ate out despite the weather. Everything about the house, including live bouquets of flowers was to our liking. We would love to commend the owners on making this home available and making it a pleasure to stay in.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Each morning we walked around town enjoying the historical sights and beautiful homes. The house is located just a short walk from great coffee shop bakery and fantastic restaurants. The house itself was very comfortable. Even with the summer temperatures we had no issues with the heat due to the numerous ac units and fans.The bathrooms and kitchen have been beautifully redone. The house was very comfortable size and had everything we wanted. The house definitely contributed to our love of Edenton. Highly recommend for couples or families and really loved we could bring our Golden along as well. thank you for a great weekend.

Horrible experience! It was listed that property has window AC units. The entire house has 2 window units ! One downstairs in the kitchen and one upstairs in the office. No units in any of the bedrooms! It was 81 degrees in the home when we arrived. We sat in the house for a few hours and the temperature in the house only increased. We left the home after a few hours and had to find another place to stay due to the temperature in the house. We were in contact with the owner and her answer was to have one window unit brought to the house . One more unit would not have cooled the house, especially with having no AC in any of the 3 bedrooms, one bedroom down stairs and 2 upstairs. We asked for a refund due to not staying at the house due to the temperature in the house, owner refused. Save yourself a heat stroke and avoid this rental!

Stayed here with wife (Papa and Mimi) and our Sheltie with grandson and daughter on visit with my mother who lives in nearby Creswell. Close walking distance to Edenton Bay, the shops and restaurants on Broad street and Farmers market. Perfect location with wraparound around porch, nice neighborhood and southern charm. Already planning our next stay here!

Very clean home with plenty of space. Short walk to town. Quiet neighborhood. Awesome Host!
