Very comfortable beds. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The house looks at it does in the pictures. It is central but a bit of a walk to the market right in downtown. Lucky lime scooters are everywhere! Plenty of space for 6 adults. The bean bag was popular! Would be nice to have had a little milk in the house for morning coffee as there was not an open convenience store nearby. No TV but we weren't there for that. The gas fire was lovely and a nice surprise. Thank you for the gift on arrival Ken and Jenny!

Great location, could have used a few more amenities…shampoo, body wash, extra blankets, spatula. I could not find the check out process. We did what we thought would work. Overall very nice house. Would recommend.

A quality establishment

Beautiful place and great location. Unfortunately neither of the fireplaces worked (which were the featured items in the listing) and there were things like no Kleenex, no coffee maker and most importantly no instructions for anything. It would have been so extremely helpful to have instructions for many of the different heating etc in the home.

This property exceeded the property description. Owner is very responsive. Easy 10 minute walk to the city center. Unit is in pristine condition and very comfortable.

We had a perfect stay in this centrally-located stylish townhouse. The light-filled great room and totally modern kitchen were our headquarters by day and the cozy bedrooms with luxury baths (loved the water pressure) provided a welcome refuge at night. We were able to walk everywhere in central Christchurch. A top VRBO!

We had a Lovely stay in this unit, close to the city, great location. Clean and lovely modern decor. We appreciated the lovely welcome note and complimentary bottle of wine from Ken and Jenny. We would recommend adding to the property listing information about there being no TV.

Close to city center and a nice place to come back to after seeing the sites and shopping. Great communication with the hosts, clean, like a home away from home.

Communication with the owner was so great that it’s difficult for me to give this a less than a perfect review. It is very light. VERY. There are no shades in the living areas and hallway which means that you have to keep moving around as the sun comes up/goes down to keep the glare out of your eyes. Also makes you question the privacy a bit. It was swelteringly hot and the lack of shade just kept intensifying it. This is where Ken gets an A+ for communication and effort. I let him know that it was pretty uncomfortable and he had some fans delivered which we put together. I give this a less than 5 star not for the heat because he worked to resolve that, but because you can’t darken areas except the bedrooms, there are no tvs, nightstands or bedroom lamps. Also, it was noisy, the neighbors across the way especially.

Lovely light filled house, close to town and Hadley Park. A nice touch finding a bottle of wine waiting for us. Bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. There were a few comforts missing such as bedside tables and lamps but nothing we couldn’t do without. The inside fire was great and easy to use, unfortunately the outside fire was not working. Thanks Ken for a lovely stay

The property is in a great location, close to the heart of Chch. Well presented, very clean, with a modern kitchen. Really did miss not having a T.V.

Amazing property close to everything. Beautiful house with everything you could possibly want. We we're catching up with friends and the house provided great areas to socialise in and do this. Will certainly be back in future if available. Couldn't have asked for better.

This is a stunning house, perfect for a city getaway to celebrate our mother-in-law’s birthday. It is located only a short walk to the city centre and is on a quiet street. Having a garage/parking was a bonus for us. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Communication from Ken was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This is a great house for visiting ChristChurch. It is walking distance from the heart of town, so easy to walk to restaurants, the botanical gardens or stores. The house is very zen -- super clean, uncluttered and yet very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. We appreciated having a garage -- made packing and unpacking easy. Very nice place.

Our apartment was as advertised and perfect for our purposes. We walked everywhere and it was close to Te Pae for our conference. Clean, modern and spacious. We had a great stay. Thanks.

Beautiful condo near downtown. We were abe to walk to most of the places we visited. Condo was spacious/modern. Attached garage, living room, kitchen, outdoor fireplace, Rooftop Patio, washer/dryer 3 nice bedrooms and 2.5 Bathroom Lot's of room. Everything we needed for 6 people to enjoy some time in Christchurch. Lot's of restaurants,... all within walking distance

Great location, plenty of space/light, modern fixtures & fittings. We chose this place to stay for our daughters graduation, and because of this we arrived to a bottle of bubbles from Ken & Jenny, very thoughtful!!!

Well designed home incorporating a sleek interior, expansive glass and privacy as well. Comfortable beds with quality linens. Parking in the garage with a small/mid SUV wasn't a problem. Two bedrooms with ensuite and a half bath on the lower level was perfect for two couples.

Our stay at this property was fantastic. Even though we were in town for work (wifi was great by the way), we were able to enjoy this central city location that is an easy walk to just about anywhere. The home itself is stunning and the beds are super comfortable. The hosts are excellent communicators and were super responsive to any questions that we had. I give them 6 stars (on a 5-star scale)! ******

Really nice place to stay, great location close to everything in centre city, great off street parking too. House has every we needed.

This is a gorgeous house in a great, central location. Despite being so close to everything, you don’t feel like it’s really noisy or busy. Two walls on the main level are glass doors that open up to let in all of the fresh air and sunlight. They were my favorite parts of the house. Everything is comfortable and well-appointed and the garage was a fantastic bonus for us. Ken was also great to work with and very communicative - easy check-in and check-out, and there was a yummy bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Because the main staircase is circular and open, families with very small children will need to be careful, but it’s not impossible. Add a couple of throw blankets and shower soap/shampoo and it would be absolutely perfect. As it is, I’d happily stay here again and I highly recommend it. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Thanks for a great experience!

This property is an excellent place to stay. Great location, loads of room and all the extras in a home away from home. Hosts had great communication and easy directions on arrival. Would highly recommend this.
