The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent! We had so much fun! We loved walking the beach daily!

What a gem! I loved being able to hear the ocean waves from my bedroom, and the beach access right out my door! The condo is perfectly appointed, with all kinds of perks like beach towels, beach chairs, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The deck has a perfect view of the ocean with spectacular sunsets, great opportunities to people-watch the folks using the boardwalk to skate, bike, walk their dogs. It was a treat, and I would absolutely stay here again. The only negative was that there was a discarded couch in the alley where we park and there was a homeless person camped out on the couch next to the dumpster. I wouldn't walk around alone after dark there ... but I probably wouldn't do that in a lot of places to be honest! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately having patio and bedroom windows covered in plastic for almost 2 full days for patio painting was a bummer! The condo itself was perfect and in a great location and apparently there was short notice of painting time! We booked this condo because of the patio and ocean view and basically lost 2 full.days of its use! Owner gsve us a bottle of champagne in lieu of any compensation. Condo was well equipped and very nice and would definitely go back as long as there were no obstructions!!

Place was great overall. However the first morning there I got woke up to construction workings literally right outside my window and on the patio. It was quite a surprise because I was told by the hosts that they wouldn't be working on it during my stay, so I left windows and blinds open. They worked all day on the patio so we didn't really get to enjoy it that whole first day. I was also only informed of the construction the day before my stay, which if I had known sooner I would have requested a move or refund. They purposely waiting till within 24 hours of my arrival so avoid offering me any of that.

We had a great time staying on the boardwalk & discovering San Diego! The condo was in a great location. We loved the restaurant Molly's that was located a block away. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

We had a wonderful time here. The condo was very clean, well stocked, and the location could not be beat. My family of 4 was very comfortable during our stay. We are regulars to Mission Beach and wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was well-stocked, immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. The views and beachfront location were amazing. The check-in and check-out process were also super simple. Beds and furniture were all extremely comfortable. And the neighborhood is awesome - great coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance. We never got back in our car after arriving for the long weekend until we had to leave. Would love to have stayed longer... I guess we will just need to come back soon!

The views were spectacular… could use a pair of binoculars… I actually went out and purchased a pair of binoculars

This property was so great. It is completely what the pictues show. It's very clean, the bedrooms are big, the beds are super comfy and the VIEW is unbeatable. We will definately stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here the end of April. The beds were comfortable and views were good. It’s a short drive to the the zoo, USS midway and Cabrillo park.

This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!! Waking up and going to sleep with this view of the ocean is inexplicable. We watched the sunset each night from the comfort of this place. Once from the deck and once from our bed. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back again soon!!

This was the perfect getaway! We had a wonderful time and the weather cooperated for most of our stay. This property was very clean and had everything we could possibly need, including beach towels, chairs, sand toys, etc. King beds in both rooms--super comfortable. Great location for restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!

This was a great place to stay for a family vacation. Just like the photos in the listing, amazing view of the ocean as soon as you walk through the door. Great restaurants, coffee, smoothies in easy walking distance. Also the parking spot was very usable for convenient in and out for longer trips. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in good working order. No communication needed during our stay. We thought the other reviewers who talked about dolphins might have been lucky or exaggerations, but we did in fact see pods of dolphins multiple times just a short distance off shore. Overall a wonderful place to visit and this property was a great choice to be on the beach with convenience to explore anywhere in the San Diego area.

This place is amazing. There couldn't have been a better view. Right on the boardwalk. Enjoyed watching the dolphins, the pelicans, the people on the boardwalk. Also enjoyed hearing the waves and feeling the ocean breeze. Best sunsets ever. Easy walk to Mission Blvd with plenty of nearby places to eat. The bay is just a short distance away (also walkable). The condo is located between the Crystal pier and Belmont Park. Quick trip north to LaJolla Cove and south to Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs, Cabrillo National Monument. .The kitchen is well-equipped. The decor is beautiful. Look forward to another stay at "the Salt Box". The Surf Style team was exceptional.

Great location. There is a store and great restaurants just down the alleyway. We parked and walked everywhere. Management team was on top of everything and timely with all communications. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing trip.

Well appointed kitchen and clean and bright. Ocean view right from the deck if the 2nd floor was perfection!

Everything was as described, and it was a clean, very well appointed rental. Communication with management check in/out was great as well.

We stayed in this unit the second week of September to miss the summer crowd. We loved the location right on the boardwalk, which made bathroom breaks from the beach very convenient with my two girls. The view was amazing! The sunsets were beautiful and we were able to see dolphins from the balcony and our bedroom. Bring binoculars to get a closer look. The unit was clean and updated which we loved. The office staff was on point, very responsive (issue with dishwasher fixed right away) and accommodating. We had our car battery die the day before we were to leave. A staff member came with AAA to jump our car. We appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile for us in order to make our stay the best it could be. We will definitely be staying here again. It was such an amazing getaway from AZ.

The location was exceptional... beach front! The process with the management company was "seamless".

We had a great time. Everything was as stated. Great location. View was phenomenal. Kids complained bed in second bedroom was super hard but that was it. Can't wait to go again. Thank you so much.
