Great staff, nice pool area, great entertainment for kids.

The hotel is very dated and really needs an upgrade. Has potential to be a really great hotel, location is amazing.

Amazing breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff were great fun. Only thing I would say is to take earplugs as there isn’t any sound proofing in the rooms

Problem with additional items added to my bill which I did not have. Problems like these do happen however it was the aggressive and wholly unacceptable persistent manner of chap (Jesu) on reception which I object to. Disgraceful and unprofessional. He had made a mistake ... We all do...It's how you deal with them that matters.

Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the stuff couldn’t help. They admitted that some phones may have some temporary issues. Parking on site was small and impossible to get a spot. We parked on a nearby big parking place - Fanabe Market on Av. de Bruselas, which we think was ok. it was one night from Sunday to Monday so maybe it was not the trade day. Stuff could not tell us for sure.

The staff are an incredible asset to this hotel and are very helpful and friendly The hotel was quiet at night and the bed was extremely comfortable The cleaning staff are exceptional. The sunbathing area on the roof is a nice to have as it is away from the pool area and no children are allowed, so it is reasonably peaceful. It also has an on site food and drink shop. The sun loungers have a thick foam top on them which makes them ultra comfortable. The parasols however, need to be replaced as some of them are very difficult to open. Although we did not get involved in the social aspect, the hotel does seem offer some vibrant musical acts. The hotel is well situated if you like to stroll around Del Duque or even walking out to La Caleta. If you like going in the opposite direction towards Las Americas and the Los Cristianos area then learn about the local bus service plastic cards and you will save a lot of money.

Along with some good reviews we have also seen some awful reviews for this hotel and following our stay, have come to the conclusion that they are not all altogether fair, especially when the staff are so hard working and trying to please. Initially we were unhappy but when we got into the rhythm of the hotel we became much more accepting. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis but have to say that despite the efforts of the staff, we did feel the dining area is being run by accountants. We felt there was a bit of meanness where the morning juices were concerned as somebody is employed to hand these out when requested, and they do taste a bit diluted too. As far as we could see there was no fresh orange juice and the only orange juice you could get was dispensed by a vending machine into a cup (but not fresh and not nice) Also, the water did not appear to be filtered or if it was, then the filters needed to be changed. This is a shame because there are a wide selection of lovely teas on offer. If you like a fry in the morning then you will not be satisfied because the jumbo sausages and bacon on offer would not be acceptable to an Irish or British pallet. To be fair, this is not unique to this particular hotel as other hotels on the Island are of a similar standard. This is just a personal view and others may be happy with what is on offer. But after two days I was only having toast without tea (to the delight of the accountants, no doubt) and then having my breakfast at a local cafe which was excellent. Some of the towels supplied for the sun loungers (light green in colour) should be dumped because they are a little worn now and do not fit the length of the sun loungers. The view from our room looked out on to the Fanabe car park so unfortunately we did not get the advertised views of either the mountains, or the pool or the sea.
