The location is ideal - 100 m from the ocean and beach, cafe and restaurants right next to it.

It was not easy to find a parking space. It was surprising that there were rats running along the beach promenade in the evening!

First of all - location. Guys, it’s perfect. 1-2 minutes to the beach, surrounded by a lot of cafes and bars to have a meal. Moreover, it happened we came during some kind of festival- u need to came out of the door, and u r in the centre of it. The next point - everything inside was well thought over - u could find anything u might need. Probably the only thing we were lack of - beach towels, but that wasn’t a problem as we got ours. Thirdly - cleanliness. We got a cleaning at our 4th day - it was not like “was the floor-change towels”. No. When we came the room was like we came in for the first time, except our belongings of course. And the last but not least - the agents. They were really of great help to give advice while asked. Moreover we appreciated a lot when they allowed to leave our luggage for several more hours after check out

The room might be very small, but taking into consideration all the advantages that is not minus at all :) and probably it was difficult to dry wet clothes, but still we managed to do that 🙂

The building has a great location in the center of Machico and near a very nice beach.

Well, I think this property is a bit overrated regarding the price. It has a great location but the room was really very small. It was well designed with all the nice details and it tried to tell you some story but from the practical POV it was not that good. I think this is a case of design-over-practicality. For 2 people, the room was very small so you couldn’t really place your luggage comfortably without tripping over it. You get 10 pillows on your bed but in practice you use 1 or 2 so you have to put the rest on the ground that is already full with your luggage. The bathroom was also very small and the shower was not well-designed as the water tended to flow out of it to the room.

Loved the location. This gives the property a bonus over everything. The beaches are minutes away.

Too small storage for your clothes and where to put your suitcase. The kitchen facilities are too big. I think the majority who stay visit the beach so I think they should rethink how to make that easier. It was a bit difficult to keep the place clean ie sand on floor. Where to dry my beach wear, etc. It felt like living in my own mess for 5 nights. No place to hang anything in the shower room, etc. There are some little practical things that could be done.... I would check if people actually use the kitchen facilities. I would get rid of the desk and two chairs and comfy chars overlooking the view.

A beautiful room in a fantastic location. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, had a great nights sleep! Super easy check in and check out, owner very helpful and accommodating. Right next to the beach and local cafes and restaurants.

No reception, no keys, a whatsap msg to get the code was super easy and handy. However, if you have an issue with your phone or roaming network this would be a problem

It was new and cosy, 5mins from the airport, right in Machico city centre, close to very good restaurants and a beach. With a comfortable bed, International TV with 100+ channels, small fridge, coffee machine, kettle and complimentary snacks, tea and madeira wine 👍

The room was just 15m2, but it was furnished well so we could effectively stay there

Keyless system was practical, very clean all around, serviceminded host, location excellent.

Room on the small side. No room for a desk. Sink area very cramped.

No place to leave our lugagge after checkout, they sent us to Funchal when we were staying in Machico, very useful

Completely new and modernly renovated apartment next to the beach and city centre of Machico providing very comfortable accommodation to stay for a few days.

• Evrything was nice • I didn't notice the kitchen with the coffee machine when I booked. Such a nice surprise! • The exchange with the staff via WhatsApp with all the explanations before arrival. • Tasty decoration • Lot of pillows Tip top

• The keypad box at the entry should be more discret and hidden even if this place seems super safe.

Great location right at the center of Machico, with everything within walking distance. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and had a small kitchenette with all the basic utilities. The communication with the host was smooth, we were able to check-in before the official check-in time.

Nothing in particular - the kitchenette and the bathroom size make the sleeping area a bit smaller, so you need to be a bit creative with storing your luggage, but it's a small thing.

very small apartment, but ok for one; water in the shower drained slowly (I informed stuff, hope it would be fixed); if window is open you here the planes, but it’s ok with the closed window

new, modern rooms, with nice bathroom, quite equipped kitchen.

rooms are extremely small, for sure not for long stay, 2-3nights max. we met some nice people and their rooms were all very very tiny.. and here is our story: We get lots messages about check in, time arrival. Btw - online check in is not working correctly(we send our id pictures and haven’t received email with confirmation)We were worried that if we not arrive on time we will be charge extra money for late arrival,so we skip our plan for the day to be on time because we didn’t want to make any troubles with check in (btw it is self check in place with code only so why they are sending dramatic mails?) we arrived and …surprise surprise our room was not cleaned and not ready. We couldn’t contact owner on booking, only people from agency. we didn’t want to leave our baggage here unsecured so we were waiting in the corridor for someone - and we already knew the room is not gonna be clean earlier than at least two hours after our arriving. We’ve booked the apartment with kitchen so we don’t have to spend money out. Agency finally send some poor cleaning lady and promised us a drinks as a compensation, unfortunately we’re not drinking %% so I gently asked what can we get instead - no response (“we couldn’t find non alcoholic drinks”, I found it as a joke ;)) As for me as a pregnant woman was not so easy wait more than 2 hours to have a dinner after all day out, so we chose closest bar to have some warm snacks and offered them that we would preferred that instead of our drinks - no response, no word or anything. Maybe place is nice but .. Dear owner please change the agency or people you worked with because such a stupid mistakes you can fix it very easily - Btw coffe can be also non alcoholic, anything that makes customer feel more welcome.
