We had a wonderful stay at Blackhaus. The property is in a beautiful setting and has amazing ammenities! We loved that we were close to Whiteface Mountain to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery and trails. Andrew is a great host that truly cares that guests enjoy their stay! We highly recommend Blackhaus with its exceptional location and modern design and decor.

We had an amazing stay @ BlackHaus! Great hosts and easy check in. The house was full of extras for those with families of all ages. The beautiful kitchen aloud us to cook meals as we chose. The drink bar, sauna and game room were a nice touch. We finished 2 of the 46 peaks, road bikes up Whiteface and finished our stay with rock climbing and rock hounding in Keene. Thank you Lacey and Andrew!

We loved the location and the Blackhaus. The cabin had a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking pots and pans as well as dishes. Everything was perfect upon arrival. We loved Lake Placid, Whiteface mountain and Ausable Chasm.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Clean, comfortable, and great outdoor space as well. The property manager was super responsive both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend!

This is the second time we are staying in this AMAZING ski house. We actually planned the ski trip dates to Whiteface with this house availability. We only wanted to stay there and adjusted our plans accordingly. This beautiful, modern house with incredible architectural and mountain charm is perfect getaway for ski or any mountain activities adventures. We loved that so much and every detail of it. As an architect I appreciate even more the attention to all the details. Great location, minutes from the mountain and also so private and surrounded by nature. Rooms, kitchen, bathrooms feels very luxurious and as home with personal owners touch. I am definitely giving it 6 stars and will be back for sure!! It is so nice to rent a house that has a soul and care of the owners to make you feel very special and relaxed.Andrew is also great communicator and all instructions and house amenities were in perfect order! I cannot wait to visit it again. it makes me smile when I even think of my next trip there.CONGRATS TO THE OWNERS FOR AMAZING JOB WITH THE HOUSE!

Our stay was short and sweet, just 4 days, to escape and recharge. The house was bright and airy with plenty of sun streaming through the sliders providing a cheery feeling and a beautiful rustic backwoods view. We loved sitting around the kitchen island cooking, playing games, listening to music and just catching up. The master bedroom worked well for us and we appreciated the separation from our adult children and their partners who occupied the other queen bedrooms. They loved the fire pit and sauna and used it each night after skiing all day. We enjoyed the chairs by the brook and the woodland swing. The house seemed to have almost everything we needed, even an EV charger for which my daughter was thrilled that she wasn't chasing around looking for a charging location. The olympic venues, Whiteface Mtn. and the village of Lake Placid as close by and were fun to explore and grab food. Lisa G's was our all time favorite. House owners were quick to respond to questions. If I was to change one thing it would have been to ask about pets and cleaning routines between guests prior to arrival. One of our guests has trouble being in spaces that are dusty and have been occupied by animals. We swept all spaces, dusted and wiped many surfaces and washed items we would be eating and drinking from that were out on open kitchen shelves. Despite this little glitch, we had a very good time, were able to catch our breath, and look forward to a return trip.

We stayed at the property to enjoy a few days of skiing Whiteface and can’t wait to return. The property is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the mountain. The property was beautifully decorated and well kept. One of my favorite parts was the gorgeous view from the master bedroom. So tranquil and relaxing. Plenty of space for everyone!

What a great place! An excellent base camp for skiing, hiking and outdoor adventure in ADK! The house is well equipped, beautiful and great for socializing—we will come back
