We stayed for 4 nights. I feel like this hotel and the staff think they are special, but beyond the pretty decor it’s a very mediocre hotel. Michelin awarded them 1 Key recently, which is the equivalent of getting a star on the restaurant side of their guide - which they don’t dish out lightly. I am quite shocked they did. Pros - neighborhood is great. + Nice vibes & cool decor, also very clean. + A rooftop bar, & coffee shop on premises. Main restaurant was closed during our stay. + Bath soaps were super nice. + Water taps and ice fridge on each floor are a nice plus. Cons - The lounge next door to them plays BLASTING music with thumping bass from 10pm until well after midnight starting on Thurs thru the entire weekend. - The walls in general are thin, could hear our neighbors consistently throughout our stay. - Valet is slow, but is only real option for overnight parking since street spots have a max of 4 hrs. - Fridge/mini bar wasn’t working in our room. - Low lighting in the bathroom & no fan. - The streaming/casting feature on our TV did not work, even after calling the front desk to troubleshoot. - No gym or pool on site. We knew this going in, but still something you commonly find at plenty of hotels. - No coffee/tea in the room

The accommodations were poorly lit, and the housekeeping staff's efforts were insufficient. While they made the bed, they neglected to thoroughly clean the room. Despite my request to the front desk to have the room properly cleaned, they failed to do so.

Cute boutique hotel in the revitalizing NU LU area of Louisville. The decor was unique and eye catching. The robes even matched the wall color in the bathroom. Cool homage to mid century and lovely little French flair. Roof top bar is always a plus. Right in the middle of shops

My werkend respite set my by my husband was 100 times better thanks to the quality hotel he blindly chose. There's no doubt this will be my chosen hotel from that first stay on. The hotels great location, cleanliness, comfort and beautiful design is above par. Being a previous travel nurse I have stayed in many hotels. Most cost way too much for minimal comfort. Most are usually downright dirty. I was very pleased by the quality, comfort and cleanliness not only of my room but the entire hotel, including the attached coffee shop!! I can't wait for my next getaway.

Upscale, hip, and comfortable with a French twist. We loved the room decor and the color choices, the robes in the room for use are a nice touché. We especially liked the rooftop bar and the view it offers. Great hotel and look forward to visiting again.

The staff is attentive and friendly. The valet was on point every day too. The top floor restaurant was perfect after a long drive in, chill out and look across the city. It's a great area with lots of walking distance eateries and bars. I'll lodge there again. Really a cool place.

Great hotel. Staff was absolutely amazing. It was an unexpected trip and we had to take our dogs. They treated us and our fur babies with great respect and friendliness. Absolutely will stay again. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Set in a beautifully restored historical building. The beds are comfy with Sferra sheets. The rooms don’t have great lighting which makes it hard to see in the evening.

The hotel is beautiful and located in the NuLu area. Very clean and the staff was excellent. There is no gym on site and no complimentary water.

Reservations were not correct.

Got on early and told room would be ready within 2 hours. Came back after the time they said the room was ready. Agent didn't know what I was talking about and I had to wait about an hour.

I really like this hotel; the location is great. The rooftop bar is perfect for a date, although the bartender was not exactly welcoming. The valet was convenient but noticeably a higher cost than the valet across the street. The only problem I encountered was the lack of hot water from the shower. The beds are super comfortable, and I love the decor.

Loved this hotel!! Extremely nice, clean, well-designed and well-decorated. Staff were great and friendly. Very accommodating and dog friendly! The only downside is that the parking is valet which is a little expensive and takes some time. Overall 10/10, will be staying again!!

I would gladly stay here again. The staff were great, the speakeasy and rooftop bar were fun! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel aesthetic had a cool vibe.

The hotel was beautifully decorated. Simple but elegant. Rooms were very clean and extremely quiet. Will stay again if in the area.

While aesthetically pleasing the hotel lacked common sense amenities, such as fitness options, and most importantly coffee and tea. One of the true joys in life is coffee in bed and with one Karaffe or coffee per day, which is gone at 7, we felt like our days started off on a bad foot and lead to us not enjoying our stay. Furthermore for the hotel charging what they charge to then try and make guests spend more money in their coffee shop was upsetting. Also with the restaurant being closed during the stay and the (let’s be honest, overpriced) cocktails not seeming up to par it didn’t feel like the hotel had anything to offer except for a funky vibe.

Great hotel at the entertainment part of town. Not the best if you look for a quiet place.

Very poor in room lighting

Great stay and a very cute hotel. The room was comfy and cool, and the rooftop bar was a nice place to end up in the evening. The only issue is that you can hear outside noise, for much of the night. I travel with noise-canceling headphones, so it was ok.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this hotel is. Valet parking is available. A small coffee shop is adjacent. The roof top bar is fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see the speakeasy. Near many restaurants, bars and shops. Plan to spend a few days in the area

Not cookie cutter. Rooftop bar. Wish they told me at check-in I had a $20 food credit
