My telephone conversation with the hosts was ok .The place was neat.

We had problem with parking and got ticket of 10Euro to pay. Also there were noises from the bar and salon attached to the building and they did this throughout the night. We did not enjoy our sleep at all. As a light sleeper, I couldn't sleep for two days .No television. Not suitable for older ones because of the Stairs.

As an EMBA student at the WHU this is the perfect place to stay. It’s just 200m from the university and super convenient with the supermarket next door. The host was super helpful even helped us to arrange a transportation from the airport to the apartment.

Please watch out the steep stairs in the house. I understand that this is an old traditional German wooden house where this is rather normal, but for us it’s something we have to get used to.

The room I stayed in was not only impeccably clean but also surprisingly spacious, offering more than enough room to unwind and spread out my study materials. The hosts were warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to my stay that made me feel right at home. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the accommodation,"GREAT Wifi which is rare in Germany", the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen that allowed me to prepare my meals when needed. As someone who values both comfort and affordability, I was genuinely impressed by the value for money this charming house in Vallendar provided. It's a rare find that combines convenience, comfort, and affordability seamlessly.

I would have preferred to have more tea readily available, as I don't drink coffee. Fortunately, the host was considerate and arranged for their staff to provide additional tea the next days. Additionally, having a supermarket conveniently located right around the corner was a great advantage! This allowed me to purchase some tea for myself on the first day, ensuring that I had an ample supply during my stay.

The apartment is well equipped with everything needed for a family stay: fridge, dishwasher , washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, bread toaster , kettle etc.

The stairs to have access to the rooms on first and second floor are very steep. This is a dangerous situation for senior people. ( Actually not recommended to climb for senior people). These stairs are not shown on the photos in Booking.com. In addition, the description specifies a flat TV but I did not find any TV screen. There is not parking and it is located on a pedestrian street, so the car has to be left on a nearby paid parking.
