Lovely room, clean and comfy bed.

I explained I was coeliac and couldn’t eat wheat/gluten. My breakfast came with only GF bread. Had a sausage that wasn’t GF etc. Allergies are extremely important so my only advice is this pub needs to invest in some staff training on allergies for both staff front of house and the chef.

I loved the cosy room and the also the dinner and the breakfast.

My computer couldn't connect to their wifi, so I couldn't work. But that was not their fault!

perfect location, historical building

the bathroom in the bedroom was tiny and the floor tiles are spongy, literally sinking… you walk towards the toilet or shower and you sink.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were cosy and very well appointed - an iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bottles of water, tea/coffee making facilities and really nice 'white room' toiletries. The bar was great to have a drink (we arrived just before 9pm), and the pool/darts room was fun. We had a really great time. The next day, breakfast was outstanding, absolutely huge and delicious.

Nothing! Would definitely go back, would be nice to be in a warmer season so we could take advantage of the lovely outside area as well.

The rooms are a good size, and are clean. There is plenty of parking on site. A nice bar and restaurant on site.

Friendly extremely helpful staff who helped me book a cab, friendly lively pub, nice bed, powerful shower, unfortunately I missed breakfast which I'm sure would have been nice.

Reception was ropey out there, however that's no one's fault and there is WiFi for the rooms.
