My stay at Sago was really great overall. The location is fantastic and the staff is amazing!! Christopher at the front desk in particular was very helpful during my stay. My friends and I ran into an issue and the hotel manager—Yoland remedied the situation to our complete satisfaction and actually went above and beyond my expectations. This was my second stay at Sago and I was very happy on both occasions. Their breakfast is wonderful as well as their pool.

My stay was lovely upon arrival. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I decided to eat at the restaurant for dinner wit my family and the wait staff and chef colluded to overcharge me. I brought it to the attention of the hotel manager. They basically charged me separately for the sides that are included with the meals. I didn't order any extra sides. They intentionally overcharged me, not expecting me to check. She recalculated my bill which ended up being $25USD less. It was an awful experience. I am sure they have done this many times before to foreigners. The chef comes out to laugh and smile with the patrons and encourage wait staff to cheat people. This incident ruined my trip. The other, issue was the noise from a club nearby. The noise was unbearable and straight through the night. This hotel is in an awful location because of noise.

Check in was good, We enjoyed our stay as the Sago which has been through a renovation. Housekeeping provided wonderful service. We were overcharged on drinks placed at the bar which I should have made a note at the time with management. After check out, management made a mistake on the count of towels, robes and linens in the room, called me advising of this discrepancy that was essentially an accusation that we took a robe from the room. The situation eventually was resolved but should have been verified internally before guest involvement.

The male night front desk worker was very lazy and disrespectful he expected us to unclog the toilet and left it clogged all night. They bought us ice with plastic frozen in the ice. Our first room had sand on the bed & floor. Pretty hotel but it needs better workers.

The staff were friendly and nice, the place was clean. Overall a great place to stay. Loved it. Hi 5!!

The rooms were modern, and there were no problems with anything. The customer service was excellent as well. The only shortcoming I could see was that they didn't have a lift or elevator to the second floor. I suppose that single negative point would make the hotel not handicap friendly. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.
