It was close I stay in zebra hotel

Truly, a boutique hotel: as far as i could tell, with only six rooms. It is situated c.10 minutes drive from the centre of Kotor and owns a terrace with loungers and a table for six, right on the sea. There is space for three cars in front of the hotel, and 3-4 more in a gated space 50 metres down the road. Special thanks to the reception staff - and doubly so for the lady who ran after our car with my reading glasses which i forgot to take. Thank you!

Amazing beach with natural shade and super comfy sunbeds.

Rooms are dated, furniture has smell of old. Bed was not comfortable.

There are much better options in the area. Great location but it looks that the hotel hasn't been refurbished for years We got a bit fooled by the amount of 'stars', this is a 2 stars at best.

Room on third floor, stairs only...not help with our 30kg luggages Beach chairs were really uncomfortable Matrasses: rock hard No real bar and no restaurant... Micro TV's are ridiculous No curtains in the bathroom, your parts on display to the neighbors when you shower...

Beautiful scenery and friendly /helpful staff..

The place is charming and definitely a plus for having a private "beach". The staf was nice and helpful, each day tasty breakfast (good variety, freshly baked cakes, home made jogurt, omelettes, great coffee and orange juice), air conditioner in the room is a great plus for those really hot days.

The only thing that was not ok, from my point of view, it was the quality of the mattress - I had issues sleeping on that mattress and it affected my rest. This is the only thing that would require improvement, the rest was great.

I had great time at Galathea hotel, and property defintely exceeded my expectations. I would highlight extremely friendly and helpful stuff in first place Tanja. Furthermore, beachfront location is great, and hotel has private beach. Breakfast is also very good, with possibility to eat on the beach.

The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was lovely (always yoghurt and fruit, some sort of cake, coffee, juice and eggs or pancake). So nice to have that right by the water! Bus connection to Kotor is easy and cheap (once per hour, 1,50€). Access to the water is very nice. Also had a parking spot which was great. Lovely restaurants in walking distance!

It's a bit far off Kotor, but that's okay, you just need to know it. The road leading to the hotel is very narrow and sometimes very stressful to drive (especially with rental cars which shouldn't get any scratches). WiFi and AC had some problems on our last day but nothing too bad. Would be good to have one or two more tables by the water as the two tables there are always taken.

Our stay at Galathea hotel totally exceeded our expectations! Perfect hotel for couples who wants romantic and calming vacation. The hotel was perfectly clean and very quiet. The staff were super nice and welcoming, the best staff we met! They helped us on everything with a big smile and lots of patience! The breakfast was rich, fresh and delicious! We recommend to stay there if you’re visit Kotor Really good VFM 👌

Nice rooms, amazing breakfast and overall a lot of attention to details. Nice small beach with good sunbeds. Some water issue occurred during the stay in the whole area but staff was responsive and understanding. They are good!

Although the property is so nicely done with funky art pieces and a lovely outside, the people who work there mostly do not know English. It felt like, with the exception of 1 or 2, they had just started working in the service industry. We didn't have a hair dryer in our room (4 star hotel! next to a beach) and when asked to have one, we were told the hair dryers were occupied right now and they would give one to us when it became available!:) When we complained they said the hair dryer in our room was broken unfortunately and was not replaced yet. Then it turned out one of the other rooms had 2 hair dryers instead and then they gave that to us. When we asked for bath towels that were not changed they just gave us face towels (like who does that?) We asked where we could rent a kayak, they told us they have no clue, whereas it turned out we only needed to walk 2 min to a rental place. The whole place is run as if it is a satire by super amateur people.

The place is great. Quiet and with a private beach. The hotel is small and staff is amazing. Katya and Masha went over and beyond and made our stay unforgettable. We also got an upgrade to a sea view room.

Same breakfast everyday

The hotel itself is very rich with history and culture, allowing guests to feel the soul of the hotel. The location was convient as the hotel is located on a quiet street with multiple delicious restaurants in a walking distance. Although the hotel was beautiful, it was the staff that really made our experience one we will never forget. Masha, the receptionist, welcomed us with great hospitality. She helped assist us when we needed recommendations, reservations, appointments, and more. Her passion for what she does and her drive is really apparent, and allows guests to feel welcome and comfortable. Chef Pablo had a joyous attitude and was always smiling. He prioritized the satisfaction of his customers and made food with that goal. The food and presentation was excellent. The Chef made food to the guests taste even adding additional ingredients If we asked for them. The garden terrace outside of the kitchen was also really convenient. It provided for a calm relaxing place for guests to have breakfast.

Minor things could be added such as nets to the windows to prevent bugs from entering. Fans could be added to the breakfast terrace to allow guests to enjoy without being distributed by the summer heat. Mattresses aren’t very comfortable.

The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We liked the beach and the breakfast. The location of the hotel was good. You need to take a taxi to get to Kotor old town. We walked there in an hour :)

Rooms are small and there is no place to put your wet towels. The bed was for two people but it was separated into single beds. It was uncomfortable to sleep in.

Shower in the room

Beautiful medieval eco building. Staff were very professional and friendly, always willing to help. Lovely location 10 min away from Porto Montenegro. The best sunsets and fascinating view. Highly recommend.
