The people where nice but I reserved a one bedroom and when I got there they didn't have any of the rooms that I had reserved. I think about a week or so ahead of going Aunt. They gave me a room of which online is actually cheaper than the room I bucks and there was no like oh here's the difference back. No, I didn't get anything back for it. Being a cheaper and different room. The room was absolutely filthy so overall everyone had a very nice attitude when checking in and checking out, but the rest was absolutely terrible

They stay was absolutely terrible they had roach and proceeded to lie and followed me and my boyfriend up to the room for us to take pictures. They also called us liars straight to our faces when I told them about the incident of the bugs in our room in the bathroom and crawling around on the floor plus bed bugs. they weren’t not going to give us our money back until I started to say i’m going to post this and call health department! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

Disappointed the king studio we had booked was not available.That should not happen. Small discount for a regular king room. Also the only outlet by the bathroom sink did not work. The room was spacious and clean with a large flat screen tv. Plenty of storage too

The hotel was conveniently located. The room was comfy and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Only issue was very limited TV channels through DirecTV. Most of the channels didn't work or they were frozen.

This was my first time staying here. I was very surprised when we walked into our room. The room was really nice for the price we paid for the room. It had a full size fridge, a nice tv and the fact that they allowed dogs was a great bonus. We will definitely stay here again

We liked the room with the kitchenette. Our room was very quiet even though it is right off the interstate. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Unclean hotel. A nearby room was condemned with a barricade on it from the fire marshal. Bugs everywhere, staff acted surprised but clearly this is a known problem. Avoid at all costs, you get what you pay for here.

Initially assigned room was dirty. Then they changed the room. Room has roaches. Otherwise was okay.

There was no pool as advertised. The tub did not drain. Lights were not working inside and otherwise lighting was very poor. And worst of all, suite Beside mine had a sign, indicating that it was condemned; one of two on that side of the building.

The room was poorly cleaned, burn holes in the comforter, and a pincher bug jumped out of the bed when the sheets were moved. Pool was out of order, we decided not to stay and only half a refund was offered. Manager was incredibly rude and confrontational.

Had 2nd floor room. Pulled into parking space in front of a room with a red 'Entry Prohibited' sign on the door. Room was full of mold. It was visible from outside on the curtains. Floor of room was dirty. Turned on shower in the morning and it ran orange (yes orange) water.

The front desk clerk was awesome and friendly. We where missing a coffee pot and o e was bought to the room in a timely manner. However the shower and tub where not clean. There was big clumps off hair on the walls off the shower. The room could have used a round table and 2 chairs to sit at.

I booked a room with a king bed and was told it was not available but upon arriving at my room the one next door was a king bed and unoccupied. I ended up with a room with two doubles pots and pans but nothing to cook on which made no sense. Coffee packets were in the room but nothing to make coffee with.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was for the money. I have paid way more for much less! It was clean, updated and comfortable. Overall the motel was quiet and staff was friendly.

In Kitchen area, improvement can be made like instead of plastic cups (very thin), mugs can be kept so that one can drink hot coffee or tea in it. Also, if one vent can be provided so that air flow can be maintained (inside and outside) in case of cooking

Way beyond expectations for a low budget utilitarian stop for me and Gus Gus, my French bulldog. Will definitely use again as is near perfect midpoint for periodic visits to grandkids in North Carolina.

This was our first foray into a discount hotel and we were very pleased. The location next to I-81 convenient, the office staff helpful and welcoming, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom and bedroom clean. I was disappointed that the only bedroom light was 2 LED sconces by the bed leaving the room dark. Also the room smelled of smoke. (At the time we booked I saw nothing about non-smoking rooms but may have overlooked this option.) Finally, keep in mind that you are next to an on ramp of I-81 so the truck traffic is very noisy. I travel with a sound machine and wear ear plugs so I was able to sleep with no difficulty but would have had trouble without them.

Checking in was easy, the room is clean, bed is comfortable. The surrounding area is ok. Parking lot is well lit. Good for 1 night stay.

Room was moderately clean. Sheets had an old blood stain on them which was gross. Room was very dusty and the door was taped.

The room was extremely dirty.. it seemed like it was never cleaned. The tub was dirty, I had to clean it before allowing the kids to shower in there.. dirt, hair and a dead bug or two. Dirt on the floors. Dirt on the beds. Just so gross.
If it wasn’t so late with 2 little ones I would have left but thinking back.. definitely should have. Didn’t sleep well from the hard beds and the fire alarm chirped all night from a low battery.
Never again. Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

Mount Jackson is a small town nestled between Harrisburg and Winchester. The location is very convenient to see the small towns of Shenandoah valley. The motel itself has been freshly renovated as pictured on this website. The clerks are super friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile. Wash clothes and towels are replenished every day. The gas station and eight eating establishments are also located nearby along with a grocery store and discount store. The motel is located right off the exit and the area is busy, but the motel property is quiet and safe with plenty of parking. Also, there are some interesting eats in the small towns of Shenandoah valley.

The first room hadn't been cleaned from the prior guest so the nice lady at the front desk moved us to another room. It was mostly clean, but could have been better. It was clean enough to lay our heads down for the night. The beds were very stiff and while there were three pillows, it wasn't nearly enough. They went flat instantly and were very squeaky material. I'm sure this is for cleanliness purposes, but they are terrible for sleep! The room had a slightly musty smell, but the exterior smell was by far worse. The exterior passageways smelled of urine. I'm hoping it was cat urine and not human.

Our room was not clean. The previous occupant spilled something red and sticky ond it was on the drawers below the sink. Also, the cleaning crew did not dust. Since we had driven most of the night and we were exhausted and did not discover this until after a nap. I will not stay here again.
