The view from the deck was nice, but that is it.

The cabin was dusty from the shoulders up, across the ceiling, in the corners and down low. Seems like is has not been properly dusted and cleaned for 20 years. As soon as you walk in you are hit with the smell of dust and old dried wood. My entire family had a reaction to the dust so we stayed outside or away from the cabin when possible. Animals got into garbage outside which was all over the ground on the side of the cabin. The access to the firepit was blocked and the pit location overgrown. The propane tanks for the grill were empty and the screened in porch had holes in it which let the bugs in and then did a good job of keeping them in. My kids were scared to stay in the cabin but we had no other options. Thinking it would be a great place from the write up we booked a 2nd weekend at the same time of the initial booking which they will now not refund for the second stay.

No window coverings. The wood. Ceiliing was ccovered with thick dust we turned on. The. Fanns and had an asthma atttack had to sleep in liviing roon instead of loft. The kitchen ceiling over the table was filthy dust hung from hangiing pots. It had. 2 broken windows in kitchen covers on thermostadt hung down and broken.. the. Screenss in back porch were all ripped. Bbq filthy. Side door screwed shut

Very spacious and warm. Not far from stores when we needed something.

We didnt like that the doors and windows didnt lock. Most windows didnt have shades or blinds so we felt there was no privacy and most of all we didn’t feel safe. We didnt like the fact that the steps and path leading to the house were not shoveled. It was all ice and we had a hard time getting in with all of our bags. We had to buy ice melt 2 times just so we can go in and out with ease. We didnt like that some of the dishes were left dirty in the cabinets. There was an orange peel and what looked like animal fecal matter in the living room. The supposed game room was a mess and dirty. There is a cute loft area with a better bed but the steps leading to that loft, are narrow and dangerous to walk up and down on.
