The property is conveniently located and beautiful. We had everything we needed and the neighborhood is very good for families. Our hosts were excellent and responsive. I would definitely stay there again. The rooftop porch is a real bonus with beautiful views.

Very clean place. Tons of cookware and the rooftop patio was very nice. Close to restaurants and markets to restock the fridge. Great communication with the staff and an easy check in process. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or more. There was plenty of room for us and the heater worked well. 5 star rental.

Loved our Thanksgiving weekend in this property. Home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. Host communication was excellent before, during and after stay ... thank you. Walking distance to great dining and oh so close to the beach. Hope to stay in this beautifully updated home in a future stay.

Such a perfect location for everything! Even right around the corner from the community center, park, and basketball courts. Great coffee right around the corner and restaurants walkable. Perfect amount of beds for our three kids. Rooftop hangout is wonderful! We had a blast and would love to come back again!

Great location for walking to Mission Beach and Mission Bay. Location is noisy most days because the main road is steps away. Roof patio is great. Kitchen has no basic foodstuffs (not even salt and pepper). Beach towels but no beach chairs. 3 bedrooms (master is a loft) are comfortable. 4-story, so lots of stairs.

We enjoyed our stay at this property, the location was fantastic and the rooftop deck provided the best views to enjoy 4th of July fireworks! Excellent communication with the property manager!

Beautiful

Location is very nice - walking distance to both the beach and mission bay. Some local eateries close by as well. Cleanliness is an issue. First impressions were not great. Torn window screens, garbage piled up in the walk way from the previous renters and house cleaners. Not a great welcome when you are the one who has to transport others excess trash. Unit was not real clean - dirty kitchen sink, sticky cabinet surfaces, upstairs tub needs a deep clean, and excessive dust on all ceiling fans. Vacasa was only apologetic when we mentioned having to deal with the trash. Liked to location, but would evaluate other options next time.

House was well presented and very clean and as a family of 5 we had more than enough space. Parking was good out the back and roof top sun area with the BBQ was great and we also had space out front plus a balcony on main bedroom. Turn right and you are in the bay in less than a minute walk and turn left same for the beach … it was perfect and even had local market store across the road and great bars and cafes. I can’t think of anything negative about our stay and only disappointment was the fact we had to leave at the end of the holiday 😝

I thought this place was going to be better then expected. The communication was so bad. The fan in the living room never worked. When I was told that it was going to be fixed the first day of our stay we waited around and no one ever showed up. After messaging them multiple times throughout our week we kept being told that someone was going to come to fix the living room and no one ever showed up. What bothered me the most is the day of checkout at 10am they messaged me that someone was going to come… like really?!? I just finished checking out. It felt as if they weren’t even reading of the messages I was sending. The place has no AC which was on the listing but the main living room was meant to have a fan and it never worked. What sucked for our group is that there were no blankets …there was a pull out mattress that was suppose to accommodate two of members in our group and there was no bedding for them. Horrible communication would not recommend to stay here

We had a little trouble with the lock when we arrived (it was broken and we weren't able to lock the door from the outside) After a day or so, the lock was changed and everything was fine. No biggie. But the house itself is very nice. Loved the rooftop area. Used it more than we thought we would. This is our third time renting in Mission Bay and so far and the house did not disappoint. Pros: House distribution, kitchen, bathrooms, huge closet in "main" room. and as I mentioned before, the rooftop rocks! You can see Sea World fireworks every night and it's perfect. Cons: Parking is difficult first time you park, once you get the hang of it, it's not that hard. Noise, being so close to Mission Blvd (but that's to be expected anywhere in Mission Bay) We brought a TON of beach supplies (tents, chairs, etc) so we didn't miss the fact that this house doesn't provide more beach accessories. Would we return? Most definitely, but having so many choices at Mission Bay, we like to pick different every time we go... still I would definitely recommend!

Great house in a great area, only criticism is in the cleanliness of some of the bedding and some dishes, but pretty great overall!

The house was great and exactly as listed. The location was perfect for my family as we enjoy the beach and local restaurants. Also close to lots of the local attractions like the USS midway and the San Diego zoo.

We had a great time at 805 Ostend. We hope to make this place or 807 Ostend a part of many future family trips. Places are clean, well equipped, comfortable and on the quiet Mission Bay side of the area!

Stayed with some friends for a weekend away. Great spot to walk to the beach, coffee, dinner, drinks, etc. House fit the need: ample bedrooms and beds for everyone. Living room big enough to hang out in, roofdeck a real treat. Wish it had been a tad warmer at night to enjoy the roof deck more.

The toilets were a nightmare. But we managed with the plungers :( Also, need more body towels and wash cloths

This was a staycation for my family. We enjoyed our time. The location was really nice and convenient.

Beautiful home, just a short walk to the beach and even closer to the bay. 3 bedrooms was the perfect size for me, my wife and our 4 kids. You could tell the house was professionally cleaned. There was no garage but they did have covered parking for us. We had a great time, and we can't wait to vacation here again next year!
