This was a very pleasant place to stay, conveniently located. Very quiet at night. Our only caveat is a minor one. The hosts live upstairs from the guest area, and there is a locked staircase joining the 2 sections of the house. When the owners are upstairs (in whatever room is at the top of the stairs) and are visiting with each other or talking on the phone, we could hear every word while sitting in the living room of our area. We can only assume they would be able to hear everything we said in return. This wasn't a huge deal, since they never kept up conversations late in the evening or early in the morning, but it might be an issue for some guests. All in all, the positives greatly outweighed this one minor negative.

Finding a place in midtown Anchorage can be tricky because of the rise in homelessness. This place is perfect…clean, felt safe, & owner is friendly, client oriented. Will recommend and would be happy to stay again. My app on phone had troubles reserving but owner returned my message and assisted in helping me reserve the place. Customer service 5 stars. Had a nice stay, all our needs were met and we were very comfortable and cozy.

This was a lovely little place to stay, clean and homey. The host was very prompt at answering the questions we had and was nice to chat with when we got to meet him. We would highly recommend Abby's B&B to anyone with a smaller family or group of 3-4. The other huge plus in our opinion is the location, it's only a 5 minute drive to Providence Hospital making it a perfect home away from home if you're traveling to Anchorage for a medical procedure as we were.

The inside of this unit is as pictured. Nice, clean, lots of room. The property owner was nice & responsive to our pre-check-in inquiries. They provide necessary items (nice towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soaps) and some extras (coffee/cocoa pods, microwave popcorn) which were really nice to have. The furnishings were all nice. Some pieces were a little worn, and some painted woodwork is chipping but these issues are minor and overall the unit is very nice to stay in. The only issue is the outside. The unit is rather dark inside (especially the bedroom) so you may want to open the windows, but if you do you'll be greeted with the sight of a trashy looking yard. Old items, wood piles, old gas cans, lawn equipment, junk. The neighborhood seems similar. If you don't care about that, it's a good place but I would have preferred to be able to open windows but it looked so bad, I chose to keep them closed. (I actually thought about scoring a 3 for this alone but the inside is kept up very nicely and I know for some, the outside may not be an issue.)

Place was clean, excellent location, close to all. All communication was prompt. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We were there to share Arbonne, loved the close location to the Ak Air center, downtown, and airport. Very comfortable and clean.

This apartment is very well decorated and inviting. It was spotless when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need, especially in the kitchen area. The host even had coffee & hot chocolate pods available for the Keurig and microwave popcorn in the cabinets! The location is a nice neighborhood close to downtown & the highway, so it was convenient to everything. There is also a Super Walmart just up the street to pick up groceries and anything else you might need. The beds were comfortable and the heat kept the apartment nice and toasty even when it was freezing outside. My teenage son appreciated the twin bed off the living area; which he much preferred to having to sleep on a couch. We really enjoyed our time in Anchorage and having a comfortable home base was a big part of that. Thank you for opening your apartment to us! We would absolutely recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay.

As a journalist I needed a quiet place to work at night after covering events all day for a week. Abby's has reliable internet, is in a quiet neighborhood close to the venues I was covering, was cleaner than a hotel, had more amenities than most hotels/motels, safe parking, spacious and comfortable bedroom-living room-bathroom-and kitchen areas, privacy, plus all the little things that often go unnoticed (unlimited Keurig coffees, bottled water, popcorn, etc)... An easy drive 5-minute drive to shopping, groceries and outdoor recreation... All in all, Abby's was much more than I expected. This will definitely be the first place I try to book when coming to Anchorage.

It was a great, just found hair in the bed and security door was difficult to unlock. However issue was resolved very quickly by property manager.

Wade and Susan are great hosts. Communication and response time was excellent. Abby’s B&B is clean and comfortable, suited our needs perfectly. Everything was in working order. The location is nearby to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely choose to stay here again on future visits.

Nice clean and comfortable bnb. This is a great place for a quite nights sleep and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Recommend for any couple or single travelers. They do have a small bed for a guest as well. Nice place!!

We loved staying at Abby's. Clean, comfortable and within walking distance of restaurants and Moose's Tooth Pizza. Abby's was perfect for our pre-cruise landing spot in Anchorage. Hosts were very sweet and left us a greeting on our door. I'd stay here again!

This property is just at it appears in the photos and is very comfortable. The location is very good if you have a car. Uber and Lyft can get a bit expensive! Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and the owners are very responsive.
