Lovely cosy and welcoming place. Perfect for our short stay. Good spot for the teenagers to enjoy Alton Towers whilst we and the dog explored the area. The welcoming pack was a very nice touch. Great choice of nearby pubs and cafes too. We hope to be back again soon.

Had everything we needed for our stay to attend our daughters wedding in Ashbourne

Not your fault but the grate outside the property was annoying every time a vehicle went over it .

The house was clean and well kept, modern but keeping all the charm and characteristics of the original property. The dog washing station was a huge bonus after long muddy walks! The welcome basket was a lovely touch from the owners and really appreciated after a long drive. Enclosed garden area.

Nothing! If really picky it’s on a main road so obviously has traffic noise but this is blatantly obvious prior to booking and didn’t bother us but is a point to note if this would be an issue for you, our kids including a baby slept through it though!

The cottage was beautiful, very clean, loved the welcome basket of local foods and good information in info book of local area. Just a beauful cosy cottage. My family and I had a fantastic, relaxing stay. Thank you

superb facilities at the property, everything we needed. exceptionally clean and well presented.

the downstairs bathroom is a wet room but the water doesn’t drain away. the road noise is significant in every bedroom.

Everything it was faultless. The owners had thought of everything.

There is nothing to dislike about this cottage. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
