Quaint older inn needs some TLC. Small room but charming. Lively setting on the water. No food nearby

We stayed one night in Camden on our way back from the Bay of Fundy. Our cottage was very quiet, and the king size bed so comfortable. How lovely the view was in the morning. Breakfast was so good and enjoyed the homemade popovers. Thank you to the staff, she was so cheerful.

The rustic cabin was clean but the owners need to add some hooks and shelves in the bathrooms. Very limited space to put things. It would also be good to add outdoor lighting by the ice machine.

Our stay at High Tide Inn was wonderful. The manager, Mark, was very friendly and check-in and out was effortless. The property is beautiful, with direct access to the ocean and private beach. There is a patio area with oceanviews, games to play and a wonderful fire pit where we made smores and played the large connect four. The property is convenient to the downtown area, where we had great food at a reasonable price at Camden House of Pizza. I do suggest they consider installing a pool. Nonetheless, I highly recommend High Tide Inn.

Beautiful spot looking over the bay. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy the Bay. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff.

Gorgeous views

The inn keepers are friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular!

Loved the view, the private beach, various sitting areas on the property, morning muffins and popovers. The location was perfect for hiking in the state park and day trips to sights along the coast and to Acadia National Park.

The property is very quaint/old. The pictures are not exactly the way the cottage we stayed in actually looks. There are MANY repairs that need to be made to the cottage. The bathroom is ancient. I will not list all the things that need to be done... they should be obvious. The closet was nice, but there was only one coat hander and no place to open our luggage except on the floor. Luggage stands would be helpful. The walkway/trail to the cottage needs to be defined with crushed stone or stone pads. The bed and linen were very nice, comfortable and crisp. For the size of our cottage and lack of amenities, the rate was quite high. I understand it was summer season, but it was still over-priced.

Lovely seaside experience.

This property has been recently purchased and under new management the new owners are lovely. The breakfast was inexpensive and so delicious (popovers and homemade muffins and fresh fruit!) and the view from the dining room is gorgeous. Our room was in the motel-style building and not one of the cottages so I can only speak to that--it was pretty basic but fine for our one night stay. Clean and comfortable. The wide grassy hill and the cobble beach were lovely places to sit and I wish we'd had time to have a little fire at the outdoor firepit.

If I had more time I would have stayed longer. The people were so friendly. My room was awesome. Weather wasnt the best but I did walk down to their beach. If you get a chance I would definitely stay. If I am back on the area i would stay again!

High Tide Inn is a cute and quaint place to stay on the ocean, with a private (rocky) beach, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Camden. The Innkeeper was a friendly and welcoming. The room was large and fairly comfortable with a comfortable king sized bed and a small bathroom. The wifi worked.The walls are thin, so you can hear the guests nextdoor. Would I stay again? Yes.

The property has great ocean views with a private beach. The grounds include out door ocean view patio with fire pits. The owners are in process of upgrading the buildings & rooms. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast includes freshly made pop overs , muffins, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee tea and juice. We highly enjoyed our stay.

The home-iness of the High Tide Inn was fantastic. Their inn is very old school and cozy and the managers Mark and Trish were so helpful, always present - and Mark will make a spectacular morning breakfast. Their private beach was nice to walk on and the space offers lots of options of room types. Loved our stay there and would most definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Staff was super welcoming and friendly. They’re improving this Inn a lot. It’s right on the water, peaceful and quiet. Great value for the price.

This is a lovely spot overlooking the ocean. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Mark's continental breakfast--muffins and popovers straight from the oven--is not to be missed!

Owners care about your story and make you feel at home. It was like visiting friendly, accommodating and genuine family members for a weekend getaway.

The receptionist Trish was outstanding. The view was spectacular. The bed was firm. Our cottage was rustic, rusty, and smelled musty.

The grounds and view are terrific. Breakfast features home-baked fresh blueberry muffins and popovers

This property has a private rocky beach (no one was on it when we were there), very nice shared patio with a gas fire pit, and the owner is exceptionally hospitable and accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was appropriately 2 miles from downtown hence very quiet. Nice view from property. We were very pleased. Cost was very reasonable. Oh those blueberry muffins !!

Mark was a very amiable and accommodating concierge. The breakfast was outstanding. The view gorgeous. Would definitely recommend it to others.
