Love the modern clean feeling. Close enough to everything but out enough to not be crowded.

The radical is an awesome hotel. The staff were great. The coffee was good. The bar was cool and the building was very unique. Very great overall!

Frequent Asheville visitor here, so I was excited to get to try Radical. Super cool vibe, large rooms, nice rooftop. My only complaint is that I booked a river view king room (for an extra $30/nt) and it definitely is not a river view (even the rooftop has a very limited river view).

The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and courteous. The hotel was very cool and unique with all the art everywhere. The roof top bar was was very chill, the drinks were great, and the comfy chairs were perfect to watch the sun set. Parking is very easy and convenient. The rooms beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing, and I didn't hear any outside noise.

The hotel has an interesting look but need more work on customer service.

Funky, fun hotel. The lobby is a little overwhelming (including the scent), and loud on Saturday night (with DJ in downstairs bar); but the rooms/bathrooms were incredibly quiet, well appointed, and comfortable. I've never seen graffiti done so well! Rooftop bar is fantastic - unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it as it had just poured rain. I think it would be terrific at sunset and we'll make a point to return to enjoy it another time. My only qualm with the rooms is that they are dark. It would be hard to sit in the corner chair and have enough light to read at night - but other than that, we were charmed! Valet parking is definitely the way to go (Mike, the valet, was terrific) as self park is more remote (if spaces across the street are taken) and not easily accessible. The downstairs bar doubles as the breakfast place in the morning. Great coffee and the best quiche ever: fluffy with the perfect thin, crispy buttery crust - would love the recipe!!! Loved the location close to the River Arts District.

Great location for River Arts District area. The hotel is fun and quirky in its design. The only issue I had was that there are WAY too many switches in the guestrooms. Only the main is labeled and if that was off nothing else would turn on. Lights and outlets had multiple switches connected to them so we spent a lot of frustrating moments figuring out how to turn things on and off. ONE light connected to the main is great - ALL of them is unnecessary and leaves a bad guest experience.

The Radical was a great boutique hotel in a very cool area of Ashville. The staff was helpful and friendly, the wait staff especially attentive and engaging. The restaurant, Golden Hour, had a fantastic Vegan Plate - different each night - that was superb.

Fun property

Slightly disappointed by our stay here. Hotel can’t decide if it wants to be upscale or grungy; decor is close to being great, but not quite there. You have to pay for coffee in your room. Free coffee bar upstairs was under repair. New gym was incredibly cold and spartan. Hotel sits by itself away from downtown and a solid walk to river arts district

We really loved the artistic flair of this hotel. The room was amazing and the whole hotel smelled incredible. The only thing we wish we had was more walkable dining options. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely though. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cool hotel in the River Arts district. They seem to be working out some kinks in the service… front desk asked for my information multiple times, no bell service. For the price, I expected more amenities in regards to service. The room was really pretty, beds were very comfortable, bath products were lovely (all by Grown Alchemist), nice coffee in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic new and interesting property in a beautiful renovated coffee warehouse. Very unique interesting and artful space. Can't wait to return!

Fabulous and fun hotel

Loved this location! i have been to Asheville several times but this area of the Riverwalk was new to me. It is fantastic. The hotel is so nice and quiet. Great rooftop bar!

Fantastic hotel- so great we extended our stay by a couple of days.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable!

This is a unique artistic hotel experience, superb execution on the big picture and little details. The food and drink are outstanding at the Golden Hour indoors and nice outside view and drinks at the rooftop bar. Pretty walking trails on the River nearby if you cross the bridge. Staff were friendly. It’s an artistic delight just to walk the halls at this place. We also enjoyed the Admiral for dinner outside the property. Recommend this hotel highly for aesthetic and culinary delight.

Super cool hotel with a great rooftop bar. Graffiti art in our room lent itself to a great mod vibe. Would love to return.

A true boutique hotel- thoughtful and original in many ways…far too fun to be corporate but clearly high standards. Terrific dining options both within and nearby. This will be a 'waterfront' area to watch and The Radical is a worthy anchor.

Located among galleries in the arts district, close to downtown. Beautiful, fun, and funky interior. Parking behind hotel is mostly gravel lot, although there are some paved spots closest to the building. A unique experience!

The hotel is artsy and the rooftop bar is nice. However, they will charge you for anything; coffee (I received one free token at checkin for a 3 day stay), parking, food overpriced.... Do not select this hotel for a special occasion as they will make no attempt at even a minor token of acknowledgement. Other than the rooftop, there was a careless attitude by the employees.
