The room was spacious and light, well designed and well maintained. The adjoining campsite was delightfully rustic and pleasant.

Facilities in the room for making tea or coffee would have be a nice addition.

The door has a semi transparent glass which allowed light from the hallway coming through.. it has woke me up a few times during the night. But if you choose the standard double room it shouldn't have this problem because the door has a different design. No shampoo/toiletries except a handwash

Very friendly staff and cleanliness was very good. Nice little shop where you could buy rolls and delicious cakes.

The staff was very friendly and gave us very valuable recommendations and always free parking available.

It was 10 min driving away from the city and had to pay always for parking, but it was worth it.

New facilities, modern design and very clean

Pillows were too thick and matras was way too soft. No shower gel and shampoo available. There was a shortage of parking places. We booked the hotel as stopover on the way, but it was too far away from the highway and we could only drive this way at a speed of 30km.

Environment, the location, the rooms, the staff!

The location is almost perfect (if there is a bus stop or tram stop nearby), not isolated but still quiet in the wood and lake Waldsee and a very good restaurant with a beer garden, excellent affordable quality tasty food within walking distance. Staff was very friendly, the double room was so spacious, so clean, simple yet tastefully decorated, a large bathroom, spacious shower, interior of everything was very new too (probably recently renovated). There is a cafe, part of the guest house that serves simple tasty breakfast, which can be pre ordered on the night before. Coffee was excellent! Jam was homemade. You can sit outside to have your breakfast too. A camping ground is part of the facility. They didn’t disturb us at all, very civilised and everything was very well maintained and clean!

Not much about the negatives. There is bike hire on the premise if you don’t come with a car or don’t want to use the car to get around. The pillows were very thick and sleeping for a bit uncomfortable for the neck. You would have to bring your own pillows if you don’t like thick bulky pillows.

Very friendly staff, amazing rooms. Perfect stay for an overnight visit or to explore the region.

Clean, free parking, good location if wanting to drive to waterfalls etc in the area.

Very busy with caravans and tents on every inch of space, 15m walk to tram stop to get into town. Not many restaurant options nearby without going into town

Poor internet connection and I would have appreciated a fridge in the room. Except soap, no other toiletries were provided.
