Rooms were very clean and comfortable. No noise from gaming area, parking lot, or adjacent rooms. We really appreciated the fact that the room elevator was room key secured, and accessible without going into the gaming area.

We couldn't get any cold water the water was always hot warm in the shower the converter did not work in the shower as soon as you turn the water on the shower came on was surprised that breakfast was not included not one of the finer Holiday inns

Easy check in safe surrounding area casino with $20 free play

Great room for the price, only two issues, number one the entrance for the hotel is not clearly marked I spent 5 minutes circulating the parking lot to find out you use the casino entrance. Number two the shower was only lukewarm.

The stay was very nice. We reserved a King non smoking room, but we were given an accessible room instead. The room was still very nice, but we were told that because we used a 3rd party to book the room, they always give accessible rooms instead. Fortunately the shower situation was acceptable to us, we decided to keep the room. I just found it unusual that since we used a “3rd party” we were not given the room we requested and expected. Also there was not a restaurant in the resort that served breakfast other than a “grab and go”type place.

The place was nice we stayed on the 3 October for 1 night still waiting as at the 21 October for the $100 security deposit to be returned to my card.

This was a fantastic stay and we can't wait to come back! The hotel was clean and we adored all of the little special touches we found. The location was perfect for our needs, and we loved being an elevator ride away from the casino and restaurants. The shower was fabulous and probably my favorite part of staying here, it was like a getting a warm hug each morning!

This was an incredible room at an incredible rate. Spacious and clean. Everything Kentucky Derby themed. They go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. Close to the convention center and airport

Everything about our stay was nice. Our room was lovely and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I have severe scoliosis, so that’s saying something. Everyone we encountered was very nice. Unfortunately we didn’t win but that are the chances.

We really enjoyed our stay at Derby City Gaming & Hotel - A Churchill Downs Property. The hotel was very clean and even with the casino attached it was still very quiet!We especially appreciated the shuttle to and from the music festival.

I got the room for the music festival because of location and it was perfect. The easy access to and from the room to the festival grounds was very nice. The location of the room to other things to do in the city was nice as well.

The room we stayed in, had a very distinct musty smell. We did ask the front desk to take care of it, and it was not ever taken care of. Also, the pillows on the beds are awful. Small little bitty pillows is not the way to go for a hotel.

Hotel was awesome! Rooms were much bigger than expected, comfortable beds, very clean. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Shout out to shuttle driver Kevin for getting us to/from the festival. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Just a quick one night stay in Louisville en route to Nashville. The room was very clean comfortable n the bathroom was very spacious. Loved the seat in the shower n the front desk was very nice. Also a great deal for such a nice room

The bed and room was comfortable. We enjoyed playing the slots downstairs in the casino, but my boyfriend wished they had table games as well. We got drinks from the bar and mobile ordered dinner from the chicken restaurant in the bar to take up to our room. We were able to watch HBO Max for free on the room TV, but my boyfriend wished we could access other streaming services, as well. It would have also been nice if our room fridge had a freezer and if we had a microwave. Location was nice, within a 15-minute drive to Churchill Downs and about the same to the heart of downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again on our next trip to the 'Ville!
