Toilet paper kept falling into the floor as the toilet roll holder seems to have been fitted on upside down.

Tried to check in but no one wanted to know and kept sending us backwards and forwards to a different part . Manager was rung and stank of cigarettes and showed us to our room directly above the bar area where loud music bellowed out until 12.30am. No sleep the whole night due to groups of people shouting outside of bar area. Heating in room was only programmed to come in at 17.30 so it was cold in the morning. Basic breakfast in the price . No one around in the morning to give room key to so gave it to the cleaner .

The church bells did disturb my sleep

The location is outstanding being in the centre of Stony Stratford opposite the ancient church, right on the High Street, with great parking (free).

The facilities for breakfast are a bit unusual and the after hours access also slightly eccentric, but that is part of the charm of the place and most certainly should not put off any prospective visitor.

Great location on a busy high street which is perfect for nipping to the shops or going to local pubs or eateries. Parking on street free after 6pm too.

Because downstairs is a pub which is open until 11pm, and as my room was directly next to the outside drinking area, I was kept awake until midnight which wasn't great as was up early the next day.

The manager was very helpful and enthusiastic. The bar staff were very efficient Bedroom very comfortable and clean

The breakfast menu was quite limited if this was included in the price of your stay.

It was noisy at night with people in bars/pubs - in fact this went on until the early hours of the morning and our room faces the high street where people seemed to congregating
