I stayed at this hotel after Hurricane Beryl because they were one of the only hotels that would allow my two dogs: a 20-pound Sheltie and a 55-pound small Collie. The staff was truly kind, attentive, well-trained, and genuinely concerned for the comfort of all of the guests. I experienced several times where the staff and manager went out of their way to show so many of us (that were experiencing damage at our homes) that we could count on being safe and comfortable at their hotel. Although the grounds were not as clean as they should have been, this is the only negative note I can make. Likely, however, the staff was surely prioritizing clean rooms, clean hallways, the lobby area, and assuring all the trash cans everywhere were emptied often. This was a very good thing! Definitely, i was very glad this hotel had a room for me and my furbabies!!

The check-in went good, though the lobby was pretty dated and warm, like the air conditioning wasn't working. There is no elevator in the annex building and no air conditioning in the hallway either. The room was average, but the air conditioner did work good. Very noisy neighbors slamming doors off and on all through the night. Other neighbors had their dogs barking off and on. I'm glad my power came back on at my apartment so I could get out of that place.

Low quality, I know it’s an Inn but I expect more for over $100. The toilets were dirty when we first got there, I couldn’t tell when was the last time they swept the bathroom floor. I overall felt unsafe and couldn’t wait until morning so I could leave.

No rooms and smelled so bad of smoke. False advertisement online. They lied about having rooms online. Many shady people hanging around the hotel when I arrived. Hotels.com said they would refund me once the hotel confirmed they did not have rooms. I have yet to see a refund.

The only criticism I have is I kept getting wake up calls that I didn’t request it

Stay was good, cleaning needs to improve but other than that great experience. The bar was fun

Do not stay in RM 211. Door does not lock and every time we had to leave I’m they had to come recode it. Then our keys never worked when getting back in. Very frustrating!

Room is nice but the water in the shower is like warm

The back door was unlock. I didn’t feel safe in that area. The room was a smoke free and smelled like cigarettes.

Phone didn’t work nor did the remote to the tv. The maintenance man was very nice and prompt…he did bring a working remote. He was honest in saying that the fixing the phones was a work in process

We stayed here for July 4. The property has a bar club in it. It is very loud smoking. There were drunks hanging out on side of the hotel. Ambulance had to be called for one of them for alcohol poisoning. We were beside someone who unfortunately was in a domestic violence situation.it just was not a pleasant stay at all. The rooms were OK. They could be cleaner. There was stuff on the TV, the floors were gritty from third or sand. I will not be back or recommend this place.

Convenient right off of I45. Close to a Walmart and wonderful Mexican restaurant close by called Barcenas Mexican Grill. Beds were fine...rooms clean. Good wifi and cold fridge. TV and wifi were goid as well. Only down side is musty smelling when you 1st walk in.

Air conditioner was very loud

You had to put a 100 cash deposit before you can book the room and I had booked online so I couldn't cancel and they wanted you to use there atm in lobby that charged me 5 dollars to get cash out and when u went to go back to get ur deposit in the morning from the front desk had to wait another 35 minutes and they had to go find someone to walk to the room and make sure it was not messed up to be able to get your cash deposit back why ask for cash deposit when you have there credit card on file smh

Front desk staff was a bit rude. For the age of the place it was clean. Please change the bedding our comforter had holes from cig burns. The having to pay an extra 100.00 for using cash made no sense to me. The rooms were pretty run down already but wanted an extra 100.00 deposit. The bar was nice, re done from the last time I had visited and the bartender was nice. The entire hallway smelled heavily of weed.

The hotel is comfortable but needs a little more cleaning. It looked as though they were remodeling some so maybe we just weren't in a refurbished room. The bed was comfortable and overall for the price it wasn't bad. The floor was dirty and there was the normal weed smell that most smoking rooms have.

Customer service was great.

One of the guests with me was a certified Health inspector. Sheets appeared dirty and had evidence of bedbugs, but no actual bedbugs was found. Room appeared clean otherwise. "Free" breakfast in the morning was very limited, offering bread for toast and pre-made waffes with toaster, peanut butter, jelly, bananas, and coffee. not anything else.

Nice Staff and we only needed a place to sleep and shower. This was a convenient place for just that and did not have to spend a ton of money. Everything worked in our room. The fridge, AC, coffee maker, microwave and hair dryer all worked great. Plenty of towels. No issues what so ever. If you are on a budget, this is a great place. 8 minutes from Galveston Island.

Shower preasure sucked. Not very hot water. The breakfast was a Joke. If you are not there when it starts your not getting anything. Crappy food from what i did see.

Good. but the toilet seat was super dirty.

Breakfast was a slice of toast. NO butter, jelly, etc. Slice bread and toaster. Front desk was inattentive. Bed had stains on the bedding.

It has been a really nice and quiet stay here. The staff is extremely nice and very professional. I would definitely recommend to stay here, especially if you have pets. Most of the animals play and are friendly.

Very unsufe. Dirty. Asked for non smoke but the smoking odor was terrible. Never again. Horrible breakfast.

You get what you pay for. There was a great smell of cigarette throughout the entire building. There was a small cockroach in the room. Breakfast was doughnuts from Walmart and cereal with no milk.

It was a pleasant stay staff were nice and helpful would stay again
