The property is outstanding LARGE rooms on the water So clean closer to town it was just lovely

I booked the beach shack with my wife and 1 year old. The room was clean, safe for a 1 years old and great service. Additionally, the walkable beach was tranquil and restaurants on property top notch. Would definitely come back!

The Silver Sands is just absolutely adorable! The rooms are extremely clean and spacious, it's right on the beach, and they have 2 dining options on the property! We were blown away with the gorgeous private beach that had chairs, umbrellas, and even beach towels. We hope to visit again soon! 10 stars if we could!

It truly is a hidden gem and oasis ✨️. The whole property is stunning. Every staff member is welcoming and wonderful. The absolute only thing I would change is the size of the trash cans in both the bathroom and the living room. I would make them a bit bigger. Literally everything else is honestly perfect!!!

This property is beautiful and professionally maintained. It is a gorgeous location, and the amenities provided are wonderful.this 60’s style motel has been redesigned and updated, yet has kept the essential charm. It includes an attached eatery for breakfast and lunch, also designed to mirror the 60’s diner look. A really fun and relaxing place!

We spent one night in the North Fork. Siver Sands is a great place to stay and tge town of Greenport is a fun place to vidit

We absolutely loved our stay at Silver Sands. The vibe was amazing! The retro styling and overall ambience sets the tone for a relaxing and unforgettable get away. The staff was professional and incredible friendly. The attention to detail was phenomenal. I highly recommended having breakfast at their dinner as well. Trust me you can't go wrong if you stay at Silver Sands.

The Silver Sands is a diamond on the water overlooking Shelter Island. The renovation of the property is awesome. Tastefully done with a beach theme including the office with a nice bar that you can order drinks. They have cruiser bikes available. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The deck on the beach is a great spot to relax to enjoy the beautiful views. We will definitely return.

Super hip and colorful place! All employees on the premises were really kind and helpful. I read on a previous review that there was complimentary coffee in mornings however in the morning we were directed to Nookies, the diner for coffee, where we received very small coffees that were charged to our room.. Additionally, I called before our stay as it was my mother’s birthday, and asked if there was any way they could write a card saying happy birthday to surprise her. Instead, I was directed to another employee to discuss “add-on packages,” which I declined as I felt that to be unnecessary. There was no card written which was a little disappointing. Overall would come back as the grounds were very well kept.

New, upgraded property. Clean, great staff. Comfortable bed. Small beach access is also great for family. Fresh food at the diner. Delicious drinks at the small bar. All in all, highly recommended. Would go again!

The recently renovated motel was designed with meticulous attention to detail. We were blown away by the immaculate and spotless space which had all the modern updates and conveniences. The food served on site in the 50s-inspired diner called Nookies was also delicious. I wish we had a longer stay at Silver Sands and we will definitely be back again!

Customer Service is second to none. Very friendly and welcoming. The view of the water is beautiful. You can relax and Liston nature in the off season.

I can't say enough about this incredible property. The rooms are perfect, well appointed and designed down to the last small detail. The property has the most incredible waterfront views and the food and service are some of the best I have ever had. Already planning my next visit!

2023 was one of the best years...i wanted to find a place that would be the cherry on top and Silver Sands was it! The entire place as well as my room was amazing!

Recently renovated motel and cabins are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There’s a restaurant, cafe, and bar with a lovely beach and places to sit all around. Very attentive and friendly staff AND we’ll be back. We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed!

Rooms were immaculate and decor was fantastic.

Silver Sands is a great place to explore the North Fork from and enjoy the water. The room was lovely and the beach was great; the decor and style of the whole place was topnotch. They didn't have coffee makers in the room which seemed strange and you had to buy it from the "cafe", which seemed a little over the top considering the price of the rooms. We were told that as guests we could just walk up to the bar at the restaurant and order drinks, but when we went we were told it would take over 20 minutes for us to even order. For a drink?

Had a wonderful time with my family at Silver Sands! The renovations were beautiful and the property/view was stunning. Will be back!
