We give the Yak Shack 5/5 stars! Cozy atmosphere, wonderful hosts with great hospitality and amenities, great location with lots to do in the area. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, breweries, downtown, and waterfront! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. So clean and tidy, super comfy bed and lots of nice personal touches. Highly recommend.

The yak shack was adorable and very well stocked. They even had a whole drawer full of travel size toiletries. We will definitely stay here again since our son will be at uncw.

Their space is immaculate, beautifully decorated and everything you need to be completely comfortable. We’ve only been gone a day and have been raving to many people about them & The Yak Shack. Had a great weekend trip to Wilmington / Wrightsville beach during our stay at the Yak Shack! Brittany and Ryan were very attentive hosts and sent us lots of recommendations for the area (since it was our first time visiting Wilmington). The place was clean and cute, just what we needed for the weekend getaway! Will definitely be returning :)

We loved our stay there. Close to everything. This is a beautiful property. The owners were perfect. It has everything you need down to shampoo, conditioner, and coffee. I would totally stay there again. The bed was extra cozy also. Recommend A++++++

The Yak Shack was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a weekend trip to visit family close by. Everything was pristine in the apartment. We had an awesome stay at the Yak Shack for a visit to Wilmington for music and a show. Our room was comfortable, cozy and clean. The space was great, and the neighborhood was quiet. The riverfront walkway was close by for a walk and places to eat and it was a convenient drive to the Wilson center for our show.

The Yak Shack was perfect for a weekend in Wilmington. The location in the historic district is perfect to walk to Water Street and enjoy the river front and Front street with great restaurants and night life. Right around the corner is the fun and hip Castle Street with restaurants, cafes, and vintage shops. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with a king sized bed, lovely bathroom, and everything you could need for your stay. The hosts, Brittany and Ryan were very friendly responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.

Thank you for a wonderful home away from home in Wilmington! The carriage house is perfect…from the most cozy bed ever to the most lovely decor! The location is so convenient to downtown, and the drive to Wrightsville Beach is 15 minutes. The property manager is amazing!

Please have the owners call. I still have not been able to pick up a FedEx package since the visit. No response from the owners or property manager.

Clean and comfortable guest house, would stay again!
